I am aware, yes. Thank you for bringing that up, though. I'm sure a few others were wondering the same thing.
The WFSA (Women's Fastpitch Softball Association) is an organization for all women 18 and older. We run primarily as a league based organization and host about 4 or 5 tournaments a year across the mid-west and west coast.
The summer season is always fun when we get college girls playing within the league (in Inland Empire or Orange County). Our league has women of all ages playing and it's a blast to step up the competition every summer.
Our tournaments, however, are always competitive and we bring our best 12 out to compete against other areas/ leagues in the country (Denver, Las Vegas, South Bay LA, San Diego, to name a few). We welcome independent teams to come out and play for every tournament. Even independent players are encouraged to sign up as a pool player so we can place them on a team that may need another player.
If you know of anyone NOT playing college ball this season but still wants to play real softball - not slow pitch, please let them know about us. We play all year around in several locations throughout California and dozens of locations across the country.
