I didn't know they needed a reason but Mr. Shapiro seems to state there is an agenda.  hmmmmm

Why the Left Lies
EX:
It is far more important to forward a particular political narrative than it is to simply state the facts. And that narrative can only be forwarded if there is controversy over the facts.

The Psychology Behind Leftist Lies

EX:

The uninformed voter will not take the time to learn the facts. They will listen to a sound byte from Senator Reid, which will be blasted all over the mainstream media, and that will define their understanding of the situation.

OK, that's settled.  Now,why does the right lie?  I thought it was to win elections and gain power.

EX:

In mine and Tim Daughtry‘s recent book, Waking the Sleeping Giant: How Mainstream Americans Can Beat Liberals at Their Own GameThe Psychology Behind Leftist Lies, we discuss the issue of the misinformed and the uninformed voter typically voting for Democrats. Rush Limbaugh often refers to this voting segment as the “low information” voter. It is from this set of voters that the left is able to draw the additional 30 – 35 percent of the votes that they need to win elections, taking our country down the path of socialism.

How do they do this?

They lie.

Real - I get it -and you on the contrary, are "fair and balanced".  How head shaking laughable is that?  Are you really that brain dead?? "Dewdette"  - Naw I stand to pee, can fire a helluva BAR to effect, served my country in wartime, think for myself, used to kick ass in bars (too old now and don't really care to anyhow as that doesn't define me as a man), was a better than average athlete (basketball, baseball, football, men's elite softball - loved racketball), coached football, basketball, baseball, and softball, and read a lot - and you??  Oh yea, that's right - Semper Fi !!  Both the dress uniform and the record of marines in battle for our nation are impressive !! I guess we can forget the reading part.  I do believe that you "protesteth too much" about your manhood and everyone elses' as well (check your shrink for the reason for that).    Insecure?  Tiny ?? Little man's complex?  Lots of possible reasons. Are you a woman? (what a gas that would be !!!).  Do you squat and giggle??  Are you a gay man?    Just curious about why anyone would be so skewed in his definition of manhood, and why he would use that definition to try to define everyone else.  .         [rofl]   [rofl]  [wave]

PS - Excuse me for reverting to your tactics and silly "manhood" definition, but after a while your crap gets very, very old.  Dewdette indeed !!!!!  If that means that I disagree with you in the world of ideas mainly, I'm flattered.   Dewey, by the way, has far more restraint than I and we don't always agree.  Good man that.  I am not particularly proud of this post, but it had to be said by someone - are you at all intraspective??  Clinical?  If you are clinical, I apologize for writing this.  If not, you need to hear it.

JG - I've known kir for years. He has always been one of the more no-nonsense guys I know. I don't question his loyalty to his friends nor his beliefs. Honesty is one of his best qualities. He says what HE feels.

You have stalked him (much like you did Susan) and consistently berated him for the way he reacts. Now you react to him the same way you berate him for. You'll say you're not perfect and have reached your breaking point as a justification. Okay with me. But maybe he reached his breaking point far before you. Ever considered that? You have a habit of giving your resume' in order to support your views. You have indeed lived a full life if it's accurate, which I don't doubt. You also have a habit of quoting many others in order to support your point. What your father, wife, Hemingway, Dante, Shelley, Chaucer, or one of your assistant coaches in the 70's says means nothing to me. I'd rather hear what you think without the references to other's thoughts. You questioned kir in this thread but never, ever press the leftist in a similar way. That tells me you're not as neutral as you present yourself. Which, BTW, is okay as well. Just own up to it.

Dinger should be praised for at least contributing more than one post in a thread. But that's about it. She's an idiot, 400 lbs or not.

bhblue - I demand an apology from you for saying that I "stalked Susan" (RIP). I regarded Susan as one of the more honest and straightforward of the right's posters -and NEVER, NEVER "stalked" her in any way.  You must be thinking of some other poster.  As for your relationship with KIR, better you than me if he is as he presents himself here.  If he will post as he does, then he can expect that someone will retaliate to his name calling and general gutter writing in a like manner. I am totally surprised at your post.   Shame on you !!

dewdette, you stalked Susan and you stalk me.   Some days your only posts are posts addressing something I wrote.   Plenty Texan holding testicles jokes, Texans and their false bravado, Texas ugly is very ugly etc...
You aren't so manly but big bad frank is and here's how..............
Questioning everything about me, my lifestyle, my personality, my accomplishments.

bhblue can answer for himself for what he wrote.

Neither of us, Susan or I, bi[tched about the back and forth, we just gave it back, in our own way.  Time dulls the memory but you were all up in her bubble but she held her own.  Susan was called a bit[ch on this forum by CalRox, many other cruel things by the dingleberry.  I do get more animated than Susan did but she is the first to say dewy disgusted her.  Susan and I shared several private messages of support back and forth, I doubt she did that with you.  You called her out several times joisey, own it admit and if you keep doing it to me, we'll just continue on that rocky path.  But like blue said, you fit perfectly with this thread title, you are lying about your behavior, whereas I own mine.  You are a liar.

You've been on my ass for a couple of years or more and I have told you numerous times that your advice, criticisms and opinions don't mean a pile of caca to me.  Don't like what I write, don't read it.

bhblue - I've seen many an individual take their anger out on others, like waitresses, store clerks, mechanics, etc., and call them effing a'holes or stupid idiots, just to think up two lines.  I've seen worse comments made from a driver in one lane to a driver in the other.  Never once did I see these events take place and consider linking such behavior to "honesty".  Similarly, I imagine one could suggest, in a weird sense, that insulting another man's wife could be considered an illustration of honesty.  I guess I can see some logic there but, for me personally, I could never take any of these examples of behavior and use it to form a conclusion as to whether an individual were honest or not.  I simply don't see the connection and that word would never be applicable.  Certainly you and I see this connection much differently and we'll have to figure it is due to our completely different life experiences.

I have no doubt when some here rail against the comments of a Rev. Sharpton or a Reverend Wright, or call out the completely outrageous statements like some of those Ferguson protesters were making, few thought to themselves, "now there go some honest people".  Same with the attacks on the pizza parlor owner in Indiana.  I doubt many of us stopped to analyze just how "honest" these despicable verbal attackers might be.

Now I'm not suggesting we group the physical threats against the pizza owner as being equivalent to the simple vicious name calling tweets, but I am suggesting none of them would lead the average human being to a conclusion regarding "honesty".  I separate these two types attacks so I can illustrate how the pizza story is a great example of the double standard found here.  If the verbal attack is against a right leaning individual, it will be called out here in our wonderful forum.  If it's the other direction, uhhh, well never-mind.  Sad commentary on where our politics and our society are today.  If I were to address the physical threats against the pizza owner, which I hope we all object to, I'd remind those in here how when PGP called for harm to others, some here got, and still do get, quite a kick out of it.  Again, I guess acceptability depends on whether you lean left or right.  smh

While this thread speaks volumes about some of the posters, I agree with mikec and would close, probably even delete, this thread.  Yes, delete it.  You can call it censorship, while more reasonable people would call it decency.

Have a nice day.
