LSU is not on UCLA's level at all

UCLA recruits way better than LSU.

LSU needs to improve significantly on the recruiting trails except all the travel ball coaches strongly dislike this staff

Dobson screws his kids up and literally watches them fail and repeat the same mistakes over and over, nothing is done to change or improve these kids

So what you're saying is UCLA is also a dumpster fire and their coaches need to go as well? Their results aren't any better than LSU's.

Would it be possible to talk specifically rather than vague insults or have we already covered all that?

For the access that UCLA has to massive in-state talent compared with LSU and what Louisiana has to offer, this is strenuously debatable

Louisiana does not develop many elite players at all.

Beth needs to bring in more power hitters though, the team lacks offensive firepower.

The number one focus needs to be their offense right now.

I think fall ball should start for them already.

Hopefully she stops playing "favorites", it causes a lot of drama on the team and players are sick of the treatment of certain players.

You DO understand UCLA and LSU both have the same number of scholarships to hand out... right?

Yes except the elite players don't consider LSU, no one respects the LSU coaching staff. The rumors are traveling fast with how we handle our program. Hopefully we can control it soon.

LSU is never in the running for junior national team members or other top players like Florida, Washington, Alabama, UCLA, Oregon, Michigan, Oklahoma, Tennessee.

LSU will never reach the next level until we start bringing in legit talent.

I hope Beth signs a stellar 2018 class, we need it

I will give you that Torina has leaned very heavily on her pitchers. But, still, four WCWS trips in her six years is awesome for being in Louisiana.

That said, it does seem they are staring into some choppy waters in 2019

The palm-up, palm-down hand-path which is taught in almost all softball programs is an inefficient teaching...........Teaching this will handicap the hitters and keep them from reaching their hitting potential........

FWIW, as for the bottom-hand turning at ball contact..............This is an efficient hand-path..............The bottom-hand needs to, at least, be beginning to turn...........Even when getting jammed with the pitch..........

Yes, clearly no pronation until after contact.

You see the big picture now. Hoover and Walljasper will be gone, its likely going to be the end for Torina and her lazy assistants who can't recruit

Gorsuch isn't good enough for the SEC, Sunseri isn't a good pitcher, and Wickersham has been exploited against good competition. LSU is in major trouble in the circle unless they get some type of transfer.

To make it worse, the position players are worse. LSU's 2018 class already is extremely weak. No one is elite in that class as well. Their best prospect is probably Georgia Clark but even she is pretty average against "decent" competition.

That's a completely different argument, but the teams just ahead of them are usually their fellow competitors at the WCWS.

Never in question.  Just pointing out to Grindz that some people think the pipeline to BR will continue.

I do know that in some parts they're recruiting is not as strong - particularly in Louisiana and California because they've alienated some influentional travel-ball people...................

However, yes, they'll get talented players.............

Its going to get worse for Torina in Texas. Within the last year or two she has made a lot of enemies with a lot of the travel ball/HS coaches over there.

Speaking to some, they won't let their kids get anywhere near Torina and her program. There is a major disrespect for her.

Torina won't get a lot of top players in Cali anymore either. She has turned people the the wrong way too.

LSU isn't in the running for any elite pitchers now. With what happened with Smith, most pitcher won't consider LSU now.

2018 she has Wickersham, she decent but not elite. She plays bad talent in NOLA
2019 she has Taylor Edwards, she completely dropped off years ago and doesn't even care about softball right now. She is out of shape and her pitches have flattened out. She is not even worthy of a scholarship to anywhere in the SEC at this point but Torina refuses to pull her scholly. Biggest waste of a scholarship.

2020 she has Morgan Smith, probably her only good get but she wasn't very sharp this summer

Grindz, really and truly, the players don't deserve being mentioned in a bad light............They're just playing softball and doing the best they can............

Agreed.  Press him on issues and he has no answers.  Just changes subjects and b!tches about something else.
Give him proof LSU is still recruiting extremely well, and he just ignores them.  I guess he thinks he knows better.

A bitter parent whose kid didn't get enough playing time.

Sad but entertaining.
