I wasn't aware the two were mutually exclusive.

FIB - The reason I have to repeat myself is because you don't listen.  Kill as many of ISIS as we can, just do it in a supporting role, do it without thousands of Americans being killed, do it with Muslims on the front lines, and do it methodically to avoid collateral damage on innocent civilians that only hurts us in the long run.

The time has come to stop suggesting to voters that if ISIS is wiped out in the desert, these "Brussels" type attacks will disappear.  These attacks will only become fewer when Muslims eventually move towards resolving this Muslim conflict.

Edit:  Tyler, they aren't but maybe more investment in man hours tracking terror cells around the globe versus increasing bombing in the desert as GOP candidates are calling for, is worth consideration.

I listen, and I laugh every time you post the same failing recipe. You're an endless source of hilarity, and ignorance.

You plainly said you think our resources are better used surveilling them than killing them.

Killing ISIS #2 Leader Again.

Not what I would call a failing recipe, particularly when a GOP has zero to offer.

Edit:  As for resources, I'm responding to the GOP candidates who want to do significantly more bombing than this President has chosen to do.  Probably not the best use of these resources.

Right here, resources better used to surveil than kill.

Maybe you don't understand what you're saying. [rofl]

Wonderful! They have a new #2 leader already in place today.

ISIS #2 leader was killed!

So why did Belgain authorities ask citizens not to hold a commemoration for those recently killed in Brussels?

Maybe Belguim didn't get the word that Obama is winning.

FIB - The only hint of an idea I've heard from the GOP regarding ISIS is to bomb them more.  I've clearly stated these additional resources might be better spent searching out and surveilling terror cells and I've also said such an idea is liable to interfere with our Muslim relations if collateral damage tends to be the result.

Edit:  They asked them to postpone march because police force is too small and they're busy with investigation.

The police force is too busy to protect mourners from the local Muslim population.

The same Muslim population Obama and Dewey thinks will help end terrorism, can't be trusted to allow Belgians to mourn their loved ones.

Great to see how well the Obama plan is working.

You mean these MUSLIMS won't be joining in and supporting those, whose families were killed, by their brother MUSLIMS?

Does that also mean that these MUSLIMS won't help save us from the MUSLIMS who aim to do Americans grave harm?

One day the Right is begging we go in full force to protect Muslims and the next day they're mostly mocking them.  In any case, Muslims are gaining ground against ISIS and Americans aren't dying by the dozens.  Kudos to the difficult job and successes our leaders are engaged in.

Who is begging to go full force to protect Muslims?  Name one here

Readers are demanding their money back.  dewy authors a thread called  War on Terror then baits the reader to a, "wait on the muslims" approach.  #leadingfrombehind never worked before

The number two ISIS leader is taken out, ISIS held Palmyra has been retaken by Syrian forces, and criticism about baseball and tango dancing headline the news.  Sometimes I wonder if the Right's heart is truly in this criticism of President Obama and his efforts against ISIS.  Couple all this with the inability to determine what the alternative strategy the Right favors in our war against ISIS and criticizing Obama seems to be little more than a never-ending effort to make political noise.  At least that's what I think.

Palmyra was taken by Assad's forces, not because of anything the US did, but because Putin schooled the US CinC Barack Obama on how to influence military outcomes.

When Russia went into Syria, the great American military strategist Barack Obama said Putin had erred and would be stuck in a quagmire. Chalk that up with Obama's litany of great thoughts on Syria.

A key American ally in the war effort, Turkey's President Erdogan, is coming to Washington and requested a meeting with Obama. Obama turned him down.

Meanwhile, forces trained by Obama's Defense Department are fighting against forces trained by Obama's CIA.

The criticism of Obama was due to his continued tone deafness.  He was doing the tango and baseball game in the wake of another Muslim slaughter of innocents in Brussels.  It is inconceivable that he could be so callous at such a time.  No doubt, if a white cop had shot a black teenager, he would have immediately flown back.

The important thing here is to curb any anti-Muslim sentiment. Just ask Obama.

So, did we take out the #2 Sunni backed ally? You know, the very people the US and the Saudis are funding? What planet are you living on Dewey? Do you not understand the Tribal and religious war that is being prosecuted? Really, do you even understand what is going on in the ME? Have you any idea of the tribal and religious conflicts that have been happening since the Crusades, or is it just all about making your Obama God King look better? Shameful ignorance on your part. Please read a book or two, and after that, make a feeble attempt at a political debate. Do you play chess, or do you play checkers?
