I think Baylor advances out of this regional. Their ballpark is big, and with how the wind usually blows, it usually plays even bigger. I believe Moore will use small ball/running game to manufacture just enough runs to beat Good and advance out. Selman/Rodoni make for a tough 1-2 punch and win 2 pitchers duels.

If Selman is on, she is one of the best pitchers in the nation. In the first game against Oklahoma, she held them hitless through 5 innings and scoreless through 8. She also has wins against Michigan, Washington, UCLA, and Lousiana. The success goes through her, so she'll need a good series to advance out of the regional, which is likely to happen.

The offense doesn't usually but up big numbers. They were in the middle of the Big 12 teams in runs per game despite leading the conference in team batting average.

I think this will be a good regional overall and I expect some good games between Selman and Good.

She wouldn't know how to throw an illegal pitch... most repeatable delivery I have seen.

I wouldn't be all that surprised to see Kent State knock off Baylor today. I think they have the best shot of any 4 seed. I don't think they will win, but I give them maybe a 25 percent chance. Good pitcher can keep them in the game and a hitter or two who can generate a run or two.

Megan Good gives up 2 runs on 4 hits in the 1st to Oregon St, lifted. Not a good sign for JMU

I'd like to look at the game, but I can't find it on watch ESPN, which has every other game on the App. I'm using a Firestick to get the app. Go Beavis! Go Pac-9!

I'm watching it through Sling TV's "ESPN3" channel. No problem.

So they are interviewing Gia Rodoni Baylor pitcher after the game, and her Baylor teammates dump the Gatorade cooler over her and it shorts out the headphones....Not waiting for that interview to end...lol

Baylor beats JMU 4-2 after a late game 3-run bomb from Shelby Friudenburg.

That bites for JMU but, that throw epitomizes the difference between the CAA & most everybody else.

Did you guys see how the winning run scored? Baylor runner at 3B and JMU optining for an IW on the hitter -- except Good airmailed the pitch to the backstop, allowing the run to score.

that happened early in game. JMU had plenty time to make up for that. freaky way to score though.

Two no-hitters by Gia Rodoni this weekend is something special.

What throw are you talking about??

The one where the CF threw out the runner on a hit up the middle even though she rounded by what maybe 5 to 7 feet...and that video shows she was clearly safe on?

Did anyone see the last play of the game when the JMU batter struck out swinging...Live I thought for sure hit the dirt.  Runner was on 1st but that doesn't matter with 2 outs.  Baylor catcher throws ball in air lands in foul territory and immediately celebration begins.  After a few seconds the JMU runner goes safely to first and the girl on first scored.  Dean argued briefly then home went to first and he called batter out.

JMU didn't deserve to win...but Baylor scored on a freak play, I know JMU would have loved to as well exp after the catch in center that kept JMU from tying it up.

Baylor was the better team, I like the way most of them play and wish them the best of luck in Arizona.
