pabar - Yeah, I just said that.  On this we'll agree.  The Senator does herself harm making assumptions of this kind.  By the way, there were thousands of us here during the Bush Administration.  We just happened to have Liberals who chose to comment on softball as opposed to criticizing President Bush.  My guess is the membership liked those days much better.

I went back and looked. There were no political discussions happening at all.  Just softball.  I will surmise that had there been political discussions the opinions just would have flip-flopped.

pabar - That may be true.  My point was, if your earlier post was directed at UCS Liberals, I wanted to point out how we found no need to utilize a softball forum to attack/criticize a sitting President.  I think that says something about everyday Liberals being nowhere near as contrarian as you tend to suggest.

The point is all the UCS liberals are mostly gone because they are just like the (D) candidates nationwide, they are running FROM obama.  It's in the news, read up dewy and quit watching O'Reilly and Maher.  Everyday liberals have left the building, they don't sit and apologize and spin a sorry ass president's performance.  They are out of excuses.  masare, said once, you [being dewy] should speak for all of them.  That's what you're doing because you are the only one still here (joisey just likes talking about me, he doesn't support obama).  If the old UCS libs had good points to make about obama, they'd be here.  obama, has left the building and took all the great libtards with him.

Obama's disapproval rating is probably higher in Louisiana than any other state right now......Because of this, and only because of this, there is an excellent chance to defeat Mary Landrieu.......From what I'm hearing from people, I'm predicting a high Republican turnout, a rare event in Louisiana......I can say, I'm voting against her......

Awesome,
But are you voting for Manness or Cassidy? They (pundits) are calling for a runoff between her and Cassidy in December

I'm voting for Cassidy.......A lot of people are questioning why Maness is running......The consensus is that he wants to build a coalition so he can have some political clout for later on.....Maness is a cog in the wheel to unite and defeat Landrieu and he's alienated many Republicans in the state.......Cassidy needs better than 50% to avoid the runoff......If he gets it, election over and Landrieu is out......Maness may keep that from happening.....There 's a question where the Maness votes will go in a run-off......Many believe they will stay home and not vote......I don't know anyone who is voting for Maness so I have to believe his vote total will be minimal..........

The resolve to beat Landrieu is the real deal.........Many big oilfield people who have always supported her have switched their support to Cassidy.....And, it really is because of their disgust with Obama.....Anyone tied to Obama will have it rough in Louisiana.....Obama has really hurt this state economically......

Wouldn't it be a hoot if after Obama is out of office he moved to another country and it got out that he was an imposter all the while?........Sounds far-fetched?......Not any more than the fact that people voted for him - twice!!

It would be a hoot.

bluedog, have you heard of that national group carpetbagging into Texas trying to turn Texas blue over the next few years?  Some say Texas is purple.  Well starting last week they are backing off those claims and admitting Texas is not ready to becoming another California, Washington or New York.  The abortion Barbie supporters [mostly from out of state] are going to learn a hard lesson Tuesday.  We have Governor and Lt. Governor races here that probably are going to show that Texas may not be ready to turn colors.

We also have a bond referendum on the ballot, streets and roads, because 1,000 people a week are moving here "and they aren't bringing the roads with them".  Wonder why that is?  woody, any ideas?  I know you're out with your shooting iron somewhere in the woods this morning but if you get a chance, can you share why you would think 1,000 people a week are moving here when masare and dinger have always bashed our state as something undesirable?  I'm at a loss to what seems like a contradiction and doubt joisey could shed any light on that query.

Real - Well, since you asked, I do hear you talking about Texas, and it reminds me of the woman watching a parade who shouted to her husband, "Lookie Dear, our Johnny is the only one in step". [wave]  [rofl]

Real - Governor Perry did say that 203,000 criminals have entered Texas and he is calling out 1,000 members of the state guard.  By the way, one of my very best friends grew up in Texas and went to college in Austin and Dallas, and he doesn't think anything like you.  Of course he makes fun of the Aggies.  I think I've heard all of the Aggie jokes.  His father in law is from Oklahoma so I've also been privy to that banter.

Good stuff joisey, 1,000 people a week are flocking to Texas and they aren't all the blue haired variety like Florida. 1,000 a week are coming here to work and to support their families. 1,000 a week are escaping libtard land. Joisey you've told me about your Texan friend before, I could give a shiiite less if he is anything like me or not. If he's anything like you, I'm glad he's in his trailer and got the hell out of Texas. Yippy ky yay MF

I've never registered as (d) or (R) in my life, how do they know these things?

Real - Yeah, OK, I watched USF vs. Houston.  I'm still waiting for USF to show up for a football game.  USF has a new coach and some promising freshmen.  Maybe in two years??  They are desperate for a QB. In softball this year they should have a nice team with average pitching.   So it goes !!!   Set an academic record in athletes graduating at 83% and with an overall 3.04.

Real - My Texas friend is an entrepreneur, about 55 years old, lives in a mansion, and once was a writer for Forbes.  Your stereotypes might work for you, but they are terribly inaccurate most of the time.  I like him better than I like you, and I'm glad that he moved to New Jersey to open a business and that I have had the pleasure of his company and correspondence. He is intelligent and open minded.  To each his own.  Gotta go - Notre Dame's on TV.    [rofl]

Should I bow to him now or later?

LA County Admits Number Of Registered Voters At 144% Of Resident Citizens Of Voting Age

Authored by Mike Shedlock via MishTalk.com,

The Election Integrity Project California provides a list of 11 California counties that have more registered voters than voting-age citizens.

In addition, Los Angeles County officials informed the project that “the number of registered voters now stands at a number that is a whopping 144% of the total number of resident citizens of voting age.”
