Sophomore's verbal is only as good as the paper it's written on ...and let's all hope she stays healthy & continues to develop & not plateau.

Because they are.

luv2 is correct about Givens and Hammond. They weren't announced. Katherine Dotson and Morgan Fowler are in that class as well, and neither was announced, along with Baird and Lewis.

All of the GPS girls are walk-ons.

Um but Lewis and Baird are Class of 2010 so they are just committed and NOT signed yet???   So of course they would not have been announced yet

It's been easy for me to follow the Cal recruiting because 10 of the future Cal recruits are local Lady Magic/Sorcerer players. But I don't know much about SoCal recruits Sydney Stewart (Cal Lite) or Victoria Jones (TNL). Has anyone seen them play?

Callie Parsons and Javen Henson can tear the cover off the ball. I can't to see Henson, Parsons, McGregor, and Williams. Quite the class.

If you count 100 as being 9 players than um... yes? sure why not

Looks like Florida has recruited 100 players as well and the Lady Vols are at 101

The list has been updated. I still need some help in sorting out all of the commitments in black. I am trying to organize it by YOG and I do not know the status of the players in black.

As always feel free to post or PM new commitments

I will have to see if I can get the coach that was rambling about it to talk again and then pass it along.  It was another college coach that I used to coach with.  He mentioned a list of close to 18 if I remember correctly.  He was talking about the kids that committed to Cal that will never end up playing there.

Tulsa Elite’s Taylor Woodall-2011-commits to Oklahoma State!!

Taylor Woodall

The Tulsa Elite Gold is pleased to announce Taylor Woodall, a Class of 2011 Catcher/IF from Meeker HS (Ok.), has verbally committed to accept a softball scholarship to attend, NCAA Div 1, Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK.

Woodall is the daughter of Al & Lisa Woodall of Meeker, OK and plays HS Ball for Coach Robert Palmer.  She carries a 4.00 GPA and scored a 23 on her ACT.

Taylor has been recruited by many Top Programs over the past 9 months, since joining the Tulsa Elite fulltime, including Oklahoma, Auburn, Arkansas and Missouri, but really loved all that OSU had to offer & looks forward to being a Cowgirl.

NCAA D1

Stillwater, OK

When asked about her decision Woodall said, "I just really love the OSU campus, the Athletic Facilities and the coaches.  Plus I know several girls who are going to play Softball there and many others who are students.  With the generosity of Mr. Pickens, there is so much in the plans for the entire university and the coaches have commitments from several top players throughout the nation. Even though I didn’t commit immediately, I knew for sure after the visit, Stillwater is where I want to spend my college career."

Elite coach, Jeff Filali on Woodall: “Taylor is a phenomenal Catcher & Corner IF with a very strong arm and very powerful bat.  She adds an additional power threat with the ability to hit a lot of HRs and drive in a lot of RBIs, but is also very quick and aggressive on the bases.  She works very hard on her own, comes from a great family and is a great kid.  She has the potential to be a very strong addition for the Lady Cowgirls."

CONWAY, S.C. - Coastal Carolina University's head softball coach, Kelley Green announces the addition of Jazmin Daigle to her 2009-2010 squad.

Steele Canyon High third baseman JAZMIN DAIGLE, who ranks among the CIF-San Diego Section career leaders in several categories, has accepted a college scholarship to attend Coastal Carolina University, an NCAA Division I program in the Big South Conference.

Daigle is one of only three players from large-enrollment schools in section history to reach triple figures in both RBI (104) and runs scored (100), joining former All-American LISA DODD (Mira Mesa/University City, 2000-03) and TRINA HARRISON (Oceanside, 2005-08) to achieve the feat.

For her efforts, Daigle shared the 2009 East County Sports.com player of the year award.

Daigle also helped Steele Canyon to a pair of CIF Division III championships, then the final four in the Division II tournament the past two seasons, including a berth in the title game this past spring.

By coincidence, Coastal Carolina reached the Big South semifinals over the past two seasons.

Before heading for the East Coast, Daigle will make a stop at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City, participating in the ASA 18 Gold Nationals as part of her San Diego Renegades club team.
