She looked very good. Great base running by moultrie. Would that be ruled as a single, and a 3 base error?

MSmith talking about the 2005 revelation that softball would be dropped from the Olympics.

Was at Canada Cup as news of London being the choice for 2012. A positive buzz spread through "Softball City". Understandable as the British Empire was well represented at the tournament in Surrey, BC.

Then the mood shifted as it was communicated that softball had been voted out of those very Olympics. Eerie day that.

I understand they aren't going to put a cinder warning track in the outfield of a multipurpose softball field, one where the fastpitch fence is inside a deeper slow pitch barrier.

However, spray some white paint to give the outfielders a chance. Peripheral vision would pick up the cue. Not a perfect solution, but better than none.
