3 errors and 6 runs given up, yet only 2 earned. They NEED to work on defense.

Yep the defense was BAD today. I thought Storms actually pitched okay, defense just let her down big time. 🤦‍♂️

She did. For a pitch to contact type of pitcher, she had a decent number of K's (7). Our defense has been terrible this year so far.

Amen. Really sucks that Burnside isn’t eligible. But if we’re going to put Warrick out in RF to keep her bat in the lineup, we’re going to have to put up with some defensive gaffes.

Why doesn't she just play DH?

Great question. Why they don’t flip her and Jackson in the lineup, I have no idea.

Pretty sure Jackson played in the outfield for one of the games last weekend? I imagine they'll tinker with it more but that makes more sense than having Jackson as the DP

She did. And I believe that’s what she played at her previous school.

They have Gibson as DP tonight with Manzo playing 2b. I think they are obviously still trying to figure out who goes where, and who provides the best matchup in a given situation.

Yep. But for future games Jackson should definitely play RF over Warrick. Hogs looking good tonight on defense, pitching, and in the box.

Holy crap, Warrick just makes the laughably bad defensive play in RF to allow UW to knock in the tying run (and then they walk it off). Warrick just CANNOT be the answer in RF.

Since Oregon is ranked higher than James Madison in 4 of the 6 polls (still don't know why D1 Softball hasn't posted one for this week), I guess the 9-1 run rule would be considered an upset.

It’s like Groundhog Day for my Cats. Quite possibly my last year for season tickets. Love my Cats, but painful to watch.

UT- Arlington 5, Baylor 2

This is the same UTA team that kept it close with a UCLA in a 2-1 game. Baylor was down 5-0 going into the 7th but scored two runs with two outs. BU has a young lineup with 6 freshmen.

UTA must have Baylor’s number because they just run ruled them 10-2 in 6 innings.

May not even be an upset at this point, but Texas Tech is 9-0 after knocking off Auburn on the road. Auburn now only 5-3 on the season.

6-1 loss to the Crimson Tide. Didn't look very competitive doing it either.

8 errors in the last 3 games...zero hitting. Pitching continues to be mediocre.
