Oh, Gray... You lovely, lovely person you.

4-0 BYU still in the top of the third.

This is pretty damn sad so far - Georgia looks like one of the teams they've been drubbing the past two weeks.

4-0 BYU on yet another defensive miscue.

UGA looks like crap against BYU! Four runs against this young team should hold up for BYU. Just looking over UGA's schedule, not sure if they have even proved they are a Top 25 team yet, much less a Top 15 team.

UGA has just as many hits as BYU. The difference right now is that BYU isn't allowing free baserunners like Gray did.

Can someone tell these girls to PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, work a count? If you get ahead, see if she's going to give you something else instead of hacking away at everything.

Kendall Burton really looked promising to begin the season but she has struggled lately. Struck out looking for the second time this game.

Of the five strikeouts for Bull, three of them were looking. They're either swinging for the trees or staring like they're starstruck.

Maybe they should bench Burton, as she has struck out twice now in key situations without ever taking the bat off her shoulder. Would like to see Febrey, Doggett, or Dickey get some hacks in...at least they'll swing the bat.

Bull and Sugg... Sounds like a great pub name. Definitely an excellent battery

Is anyone watching the game live?? Does LHC have Burton bunting or swinging away? She can really swing the bat but has been playing a lot of small ball lately.

tiny strike zone in this game... no corner calls or low zone calls

Try again... three-hole hitter bunting late in the game while down by 4 and pops it up for a double play.

STOP. SWINGING. AT. THE. FIRST. PITCH.

I just don't understand the frame of thinking here.

Um, I am not 'trying' for anything re: Georgia

And, again, easily could have been a triple play

Ouch... Georgia is getting hits now, but between that double play against McGuire just now and the "leaving early" out against the older Emanuel sister earlier in the game, the Dawgs are really beating themselves.

I think what he was saying was more along the lines of "not so fast", as yet again UGA sh*ts the bed.

The one shining spot for Georgia has been that Avant looks solid so far with her mixing of the fast stuff with the rise and change.

Hey LU, are you watching (what I'm tracking and not paying money for)? It's time to let the freshmen go out there and stop putting it all on Gray. I've let my opinion be known many times on the mental situation of Gray and I just don't think she's got the 'big game mean' in her that she needs. Among other things, she's just not going to get much done being a mental midget.

Dawgs lose 4-0, but the bright spot as mentioned earlier is how well Avant pitched.

Now let's just pray we show up with more fight tonight.

I'll keep this short and sweet so as to not go too far (if I haven't already):

Lu, your "secret" is out. Gray is incapable of pitching in pressure situations if not all together, as she simply has not improved. More than that, she just looks like she doesn't care out there. There are spurts of energy, moments where she seems to maybe care, but overall she's just not cutting it. Yes, I realize she is the "experienced one" alongside Bass, but they are getting hammered. Whatever the tactic is/was, it's not going to work. I THINK WE ALL SEE THAT NOW, OKAY? Avant and Ablan may be young and they might get hammered too, but Avant was by far the best arm we had all day and should be getting more respect than what she is. Ablan... I want to see more of her, enough said. At least if we lose with Avant and Ablan there is room to grow, make excuses if we need to, but Gray? She's flat-out refusing to make progress and it's hard to watch. Bass at least cares...

I said I wouldn't do it and I done did it. YOLO. [wave]
