It is my understanding that Napoli did not see the circle this fall, so her departure was probably a mutual decision.

If GT is where she lands, I'd be very happy for Napoli and Tech both. She truly was a great kid

If I had to guess Napoli was 50% athletic and 50% HOPE, and if Lu would recruit more players from Georgia she could get @ 24 players on full rides (50% HOPE, 50% athletic).

if you want to get technical, HOPE only covers about 65 percent of tuition, but zell Miller is 100 percent of a public school in Georgia standard rate of tuition. So unless each Georgia kid gets a 3.7 high school gpa and a 26 on ACT or 1200 SAT, they won't be on a "full" ride even with a 50 percent athletic. They would still pay something for tuition, so lu couldn't have as many full rides as you think.

Just clarifying that HOPE was covering the other 50%...so she was essentially on a full ride.

Don't know her test scores or GPA, but I would not be surprised if Napoli qualified for the ZELL.  Cambridge is a very good high school.

Napoli is a smart kid, she works hard in school. I imagine she had a good chunk of it covered IMO

Ssssh! We like our out of state players just fine. I'm real excited about a few of the 2020s, especially Kearney.

I heard we may have lost some of the 2019s. Any truth to that? I don't think we lose Fields unless her brother transfers, but even before he committed it was said UGA was her dream school.

Last I heard all 3 from Cali are still coming and the 2 from Georgia are coming...UGA is Fields dream school. Heard she might even enroll early but don't know how true that is...

Who is the second Georgia kid? My mind is going blank.

Fields as an early enrollee would be nice. She's has a great couple of months with a PGF championship and now GHSA as a senior. 16 homers too.

Fields will enter school early. Working out with travel team now to stay in shape.

It looked like Fincher was at 1st during fall ball, but I’m not positive and it also could have been an experimental thing.

That’s what I meant, Fincher is a freshman so if she takes that spot where will fields play? I guess Fincher could move to short after dicarlo graduates?
