Sounds good to me, that’s where she played in high school and travel ball

I think Febrey has a bit of a knee injury/lingering problem as well. I know I've seen her with a brace on in a few pictures.

She’s not great in the field, maybe that’s why? Honestly, Milz at 2nd looks slow to me and I think it’s probably her knee issues as well. Hoping doggett can provide more offensively, or maybe sikes can take over at 3rd

They are fine in the infield and Fincher and Sikes will provide great depth and fire power on offense...I thinks it’s a good problem the coaches have options

That confirmed?

Rumblings that Tech is losing a pitcher so they'll be back to a 3 deep bullpen. At lot less crowded than Georgia. She will be a serviceable #2

It's in her Instagram bio now. No announcement, but a subtle addition (kinda like Saile)

Okay so I keep seeing things about juarez's transfer destination and many people are mentioning UGA. Is this really a decent possibility, or is this just more wishful thinking by UGA fans like me? 😂 We would have to throw ablan out I guess. There wouldn't be room to walk in that bullpen!

Throw Ablan out? Napoli gone and replaced by an enigma from Kennesaw St. unproven. There are rumblings Bass has got some issues requiring surgery and may not be 100% come Spring. Rumblings about Avant's health which could be nothing.

So, if the Staff would take the time to work with Mathis, she throws harder than Bass...but so does everybody...and can bend it just as well. Mathis just needs innings to gain confidence. I heard she had a pretty good Fall.

As far as Jaurez, LHC should be paying for her to do a HALO into Athens and get the deal done. Great program with good offense desperately in need of a defacto #1. UGA becomes very good very quick.

in my mind, we would give up the next worst pitcher behind Napoli, which is ablan in my opinion. So I'd assume to free up some scholarship dollars you would do that, especially since u probably didnt gain any from the transfer replacing Napoli.

LOL. I get it, Cutting is coming from KSU, but she's a good arm. Is she SEC ready? Probably not, at least not yet, but she throws harder than Bass (not a hard thing to do) and has better control than any pitcher we have left on staff outside of Mathis. She's not exactly chopped liver.

Cutting...just look at her resume. She has exactly 0 wins against any notable teams. Very nice Freshman year after being injured in 2016. Her stats actually fell off a bit her Sophmore year. She did give up less than a hit/inning but avg less than a K/inning, which in that Mid Major Conference will prove to be problematic in the SEC. Her BAA over 2 years of .233 will translate to a much bigger number in the SEC. LHC looks to be throwing Darts and Cutting got in the way. Maybe Fico can whip her into shape to buy some innings. But again, UGA will have to score a lot of runs to support a weak staff.

Just further proves how badly we need Juarez.

Between her, Mathis, Avant (when healthy), and Cutting (yes, I know, zero 'big program wins', but still) I think we have a chance.

The offense is only going to get better. Time for the pitching to catch up.

How was Ablan this fall? Any progress? Avant's health? Is it serious enough that she may not play this season?

She is in contact with a few SEC schools. She has been hush hush over the entire situation.

Would be a gigantic grab for Georgia. Adding her with that offense completely changes everything.
