Haven't seen a thread for them pop up yet and am curious on everyone's thoughts.
They are in a lot of people's preseason top 5 (including mine)

Bruins should have no issue making it back to OKC and i think they'll finish second in the Pac12. If Garcia is healthy and Azevedo/Grauer/Taaumilo can even give Garcia 100 innings (def if they can give her 150) of relief she can carry them all the way.

I think UCLA will def be a top 5 team, and could get to the top 3. Right now I would say:

1. Oklahoma
2. Oregon
3. Florida
4. UCLA

But, I think Oregon and UCLA will fight it out for sure. Should be a great season for the Bruins!

I think this is a fair top 4, Oklahoma should be everyone's #1, 2-4 is really gonna come down to what team shows up at the right time.

UCLA going, in essence, oppo their scheduling last year. Fifteen losses with the 2018 schedule will keep them out of the Top 8

That said, I see 7-10 losses for this beast

The strength of their PAC-12 schedule should be enough to get them a high RPI. It's similar to oregons schedule from last year, without the big FSU series

Very similar to that Oregon schedule minus the FSU troika... agreed

Can't lose 15 games this year with it, though and keep a coveted top 8. Agree?

Of course, they'll need to be under 10 losses to be in top 8 talk. Ideally 5-8 losses

I think at least 13 is way too high. They dropped just 15 last year with a much much tougher schedule.

Spaulding was a huge loss, no doubt. But, as long as Garcia and either Ta'amilo or Azevedo are good, they will be an 8-10 loss team

Ruins a 8-10 loss team. Hell no! It will not happen.

I have a strong feeling you haven't seen their schedule or you're just very much anti UCLA or maybe both

Makes perfect sense to me. Desperately need to ensure Garcia's innings don't pile up, and from February 8 till March 15, they will be able to pitch Ta'amilo and Azevedo a chunk and not take hits in the W-L by doing so, if all goes according to Hoyle from their perspective
