I have no problem with this - they are free to stay where they want.

Cuban makes trump look even more silly than he normally does. His intellect and couldn't give a sh1t attitude brings trump to his knees. This will be good.

Did Al Green tell you that?

Lost in the uproar over the NFL sideline protests against police brutality are newly released statistics showing that the threat to black men is skyrocketing — not from trigger-happy or racist cops, but from crime. More than any other demographic group, black men are paying the price with their lives with a surging violent crime rate over the past two years, including a 20 percent jump in the overall homicide rate, even as the number of blacks killed by police declines.

One of the NFL players stated that the protest is also about the male-female wage gap.  WTF?

Ignore the freshy's of the world.  America is a great place and full of people that love their country.

I especially want to take this time and thank our veterans for all they have done.

I love and honor what made this country great with a much deeper understanding than you will ever have. Like squirrels hoarding their nuts for the winter, the circle can't stand sharing. Can't stand acts they don't fully understand or control. They have to subscribe false reasoning to the protests to make them sound dastardly. The protests are protected by the constitution because we all live under differing circumstances, seeing the country through different perspectives. How black people or brown people are treated in your little world may bear no semblance to treatment in other areas of the country. Kaepernick protested black injustice. Whether you have seen or experienced it is irrelevant. He has experienced it. You may disagree with him(how could you know?), but you have no right to misrepresent what he's saying with his protest. When explained to him that his protest was over the top while sitting, he consciously chose to alter it by kneeling. Continue to lie to yourself about this protest, it doesn't change it's validity. It merely shows how intolerant you are of those you can't understand.

Kaepernick is a fraud.  Kaepernick started his protest with the little piggy socks.  Displaying the ultimate disdain for our hard working law enforcement officers.  Officers that we demand walk into harms way, in the toughest most unruly neighborhoods.  Come under fire. Make split life and death decisions.

Kaepernick was raised further away  from poor, from the injustice than anyone else on this board.  His white liberal mother and father raised him in a locked and gated community.  Only thing he knows about injustice is the dem marketing talking points.

As far as the protest.  No matter that most of America has universally stated that they think standing for the national anthem is to honor our veterans and fallen soldiers.  Their cause trumps all.  They need their say.

I say let them have the NFL.  It already had become worthless with all the flags.  The hitting being driven to low is causing tons and tons of ankle and knee injuries.  I have already moved my work in the yard work/golf day to Sunday, and Saturday I hook with a few buddies and watch college football.

You have no idea how much any of us share on here. I'll try to type this slow enough for you to understand - we're opposed to Libs using the government to forcibly take what we've earned to wastefully spend it and give to their constituencies. You can take your sanctimonious BS and shove it because you don't have a clue.

You keep propagating this steaming load of crap. Truth is the objective of the protest is separate from the way they've chosen to protest and your relentless claims they're being conflated are ridiculous. Kneeling during the national anthem is a provocative form of protest like burning the flag and it is protected by the 1A, however it also pisses people off and makes them less receptive to their message.

Biggest problem with these protests is they aren't charting a course forward beyond calling attention to a problem. They - and BLM - need to come up with a 2nd act.

I'm still waiting on Fresh to let us know the player that got fired for kneeling.

Probably just another one of his made up lies.

I thought it was because he was sucking it up in a big way.
Is he better than some in the league currently, sure, but he was let go based on performances

You don't suc k it up 1 year and lose your job as a backup. He knew this was a possibility and hasn't cried about it. Still has money and has given over a million to charity. Deserves better.

He was replaced by Gabbert, and when put back in as a starter lost the job a second time. Please explain the difference between him and Vick?

Might want to research your poster boy.

He opted out of his contract.

Listen to the words of the veteran that spoke to Kaepernick about his protest. Why do some people always want to believe the worst possible angle about a situation when the truth is a much better story. I don't understand.
