Misled

Donald Trump says the GOP has misled the American people.  Be it the need to go to war, WMD's, a suggestion we'd be viewed as Liberators in Iraq, bad trade deals, or deficits, he says the GOP has failed miserably as a Party.  Today he called the GOP establishment a total mess.

Iraq

Trump has described the Iraq War as the worst decision in American history.  He says the Mideast problems we face today can be traced mostly to this drastic call to go to war.  He says some in the GOP lied to us.

Safe

Trump has scoffed at the idea President Bush kept us safe.  He points to 9/11 and to wounded warriors found everywhere around this Country.  He asks, what does that even mean, keeping us safe?

Economy

Trump criticizes all involved about so called terrible trade deals.  He says all parties have failed us economically and deficits are out of control.  He mocks our horrible infrastructure and our failure to modernize airports, rail, highways, etc.  He claims he is the President that will fix our infrastructure.

Healthcare

Trump says he likes the insurance mandate.  But he hates Obamacare.  He states we can't have Americans dying in the streets and we must take care of all Americans.

Women

Trump loves women.  Women love Trump.  He thinks Planned Parenthood does great things for women, with the exception of abortion.  Women will do great under a President Trump remains his mantra.

Immigration

We must build a wall.  The good ones can come back.  Mexicans love Trump he says.  These are Trump plans.  Unfortunately, Muslims...keep out!

There's a lot above one might find a Democrat repeating.  However, there are several more ideas that Democrats find completely unacceptable.  Democrats will follow through on the ideas that make sense.  We'll secure the border and implement e-verify.  We don't need a wall as e-verify and extra security will curb the flow.  If it doesn't, it means business needs more laborers and we'll increase the legal immigration numbers and add work permits accordingly.  We'll invest in improving infrastructure.  We'll make sure Americans have preventive health care and we'll work diligently to keep America safe.  We'll continue to focus on women's rights and women's needs.  Discrimination will not be tolerated.

We need a leader who will continue to move this Country forward.  We need a serious and knowledgeable leader in the White House.  We don't need a celebrity who says "I'll quit saying bimbo once I'm President".

Trump is on his way to obliterating the Republican Party and I have no idea why many in the GOP will rally around him if he is the nominee.  There's obviously very little GOP "dna" in Donald Trump, as is clearly illustrated above.  But what I'm more concerned about is a President Trump obliterating our image as a Country and damaging our way of life.  Electing Donald Trump would be a huuuuuuge mistake by the American people.  Certainly we can convince our politicians to work together on our behalf in some other manner, rather than turning to an individual who finds that insults come easier than solutions.  Needless to say, I hope the Trump campaign is just an interesting piece of history come December.

Dewey - Trump is in a primary and he needs to bash Republicans to win the nomination.  Sanders and Clinton are also hitting each other.  As soon as a candidate wins the nomination, they move to the center and stop trashing their own side.  There's nothing new here.

pabar - Trump will probably stop saying Bush misled us and failed to keep us safe as soon as we get to the general election.  That will help him get Democrat votes.  Nooot!

DONALD TRUMP: Well, what I mean by that is it almost shouldn't have been done. And you know, I really don't even know what I mean, because that was a long time ago, and who knows what was in my head.

Now, I haven't picked alot of cotton, but, I have picked some cotton in my younger days, along with string beans, field peas, and some other goodies...........

I wonder who has picked more cotton - Jesse, or me?.........I'm pretty sure I got him on field peas.......But, not sure on the cotton.....Although, I like my chances!

Dewey, Will grant you that Trump is a terrible candidate for the highest office. Hillary is worse. Far worse. To ignore her absolute disdain for rules, regulation and despicable misrepresentation of the electorate is reprehensible. For those Democrats that would vote for her because she might currently espouse belief in a policy or two shared are worth having her in office is dishonorable.

An inexperienced Barak Obama was given a chance. Hope that there would be change. Time something new again. We've all experienced Hillary R. Clinton. She's old news, with borrowed views and untold clues...unless those in blue around her speak. Not likely. Some people take an oath and honor it.

Sure, Real......

On Nevada......

Trump won the Hispanic vote by a lot......But then, he won with everyone by a lot........Sure don't think the Jeb voters went to either of the Cubans.......

And, it is reported to be a record turnout.......!!!

Cruz and Rubio are still virtually neck-and-neck......Cruz is perceived as being dishonest.......Rubio is perceived as the establishment candidate.......I think this is too obvious to ignore......Not a good time to be tagged with either.......[smile]

Dog - you think you're funny and clever.  The reality is you're a very small person with no character.  You come in and bring your little chip shots but won't have a real discussion.  It's obvious to me now that you hate America and are more interested in the entertainment value of this forum than what happens to the future of this country.  Enjoy your freedom to act like a child.

A poll says 80% of Hispanics have an unfavorable view of Trump.  Hard to determine how many of the other 20% he has won over.

I think they are speaking of the illegal ones. The legal ones support him more like 45%

bluedog - Tricks are for kids. [wink]  Romney got 27% of the Hispanic vote and Trump already has an 80% unfavorable rating.  How does one win over 7% of those who have an unfavorable view of them?  I can't win over even 1% of those holding an unfavorable view of me inside here. [smile]
