Looks like a bad miss by me on Craighton.

Sanders .... making a bee line for 14

On Watch List:

Mulipola-Arizona
.306  8HR  26RBI  31K  274PO  fielding 1.000  7-13 SBA

Cone-George Washington
.426  10HR  49RBI  4K  84PO  .952 fielding

Not on Watch List:

Svekis-Oregon
.333  13HR  40RBI  14K  224PO  1.000 fielding 3-3 SBA

NOT placing Svekis on this list is a bigger mystery than where Jimmy Hoffa's body is. If she played in the Atlantic 10 her Stats would have to be calculated on a curve.

(disclaimer: Svekis homer)

Don't get me wrong. Syd is an excellent player, but I will not be surprised if Mendes & Pendley have better seasons.

And how could they possibly leave Lea Wodach off this list (for her amazing bunting talents alone)?

; )

Oregon has 4 players: Balint, Kleist, Mack and Sanders.
Arizona has 4 players: McQuillin, Mulipola, Craighton and Harper.

Minnesota has 3 players: Lindaman, Parlich and Houlihan.

Surprised to see Florida with just 2 players: Barnhill and Lorenz.

+++++++++++++++++++++++

Before the season began - I did feel that both Mendes and Pendley might have better seasons than Romero.
I did not see this truly outstanding season that Syd Romero has put together so far - coming.
She has been tremendous. She has taken her level of play to a whole new level of greatness this season.

And Nicole Mendes has fallen off the level she performed at in her freshman season...
when I thought she might build on it - and do even better.

Pendley's BA is down a bit this season (so far), but her OBP and SLG have been very good.
