This series today against Rutgers will tell a whole lot about this team because if they let horrible Rutgers come in here and sweep them, OMG.

I will give Rutgers props on one thing though. They allowed there best player Taryn Atlee to transfer to Washington this offseason. Talk about going from the outhouse to the penthouse, hahaha. A whole lotta coaches would've been petty and tried to mess with her or send her to another bad team!

Rutgers also got a pretty good player from Fordham to come there, so maybe things even out a little bit. You are right, today's series is very important. It will determine which team is the more pathetic in the BIG 10. Throw in Penn State and they can battle it out for who gets left home for the playoffs.

Maybe Rutgers said ... 'you think you are better than us and can play in the Pac? Uhhhh, go ahead.'

Its "their" not "there" and interesting you bring up Atlee since she played with two of the players on Maryland's team that were "forced out" by some accounts and other say "chose to leave".  Maybe you are showing who you are, although I have figured it out. 😉

Atlee currently batting .247, 10th best. As far as did she really go from 'the outhouse to the penthouse' as one poster said: Against the following Conferences she is:
ACC       0-1
SEC       1-7
PAC 12  4-31

2 of her PAC 12 hits were against Stanford.

Washington looking pretty good and not a bad team to be a part of. And she has started 37 games. She's only a Sophmore but her in-Conference production to date would suggest she's a long way from Rutgers.

I have no idea what you are talking about Bstandby. I only mentioned Taryn because she use to play for Rutgers. I'm guessing since she is from Cali you are talking about the Jarvis twins. I do not know them at all. Good lord I wish I did, hahaha, but I don't.

When I talk about her going from the outhouse to the penthouse I'm talking about team wise!

I have no idea TruDat. I'm guessing that softball isn't one of their big priorities. Have you seen one of their home games on TV. It looks they play at a high school field. No stands or seating areas and a big giant red scorers box behind home plate, WTF!

So just out of curiosity I googled their baseball stadium to look at pictures to compare.
Can anyone say Title IX?

Yeah, its bad for them. I'm shocked that they are allowed to get away with the discrepancy between softball and baseball fields. Rutgers will never win anything or recruit any big time players with a home field like that.
