With due respect to Stephen Colbert, and in light of all the backlash to the WHCD comedy routine, I think it's time to remind everyone about the garbage being spewed by our fearless leader in the WH and the hypocrisy of the right.

I'll update from time to time.

Wapo.  Owned by Amazon.  The communists just went down and started throwing bricks at Amazon's Spheres.  Even the commies know wapo is full of it.

The angry Right has had a field day posting supposed lies they claim President Obama and other Democrats have spread.  Certainly they can handle some reciprocal treatment along the way.

When President Trump shares something untrue he sometimes follows it with his favorite line "Someone gave me that information."  Of course this is probably untrue too as I suspect nobody gave him any such misinformation but, in any case, it means with this President you often get two falsehoods for the price of one.

That is a lie. Amazon has no stake in WaPo.

You have to be one of the most naive and moronic posters to ever grace this forum.

Show me where Amazon has any leverage on what is reported in the Washington Post. Just a convenient b1tching point since the same billionaire owns them both. There is no connection between the two.

Since Bezos is CEO of Amazon and is a major shareholder of same and he owns WaPo, you don't see any connection between the two?

Fresh - tell us all you're not that monumentally dumb that you believe Bezos has no personal influence over WaPo.

Really Jane? You're really going with that? Then by your logic, Trumps holdings are therefore free from criticism under the emoluments clause. Didn't think that one through did ya? Don't be that way, we are here to help you. We're your friends and all.

No. WaPo has already said they have never been approached by Bezos to change their methods. No.....Difference.......Period. Makes a good conspiracy theory though.

And you believe that.  That the owner requested changes and they said no.  Got it.

When did I say Bezos doesn't make money off the Post like denny does off the government? He doesn't affect their policies is what I said. I also asked for an instance where he did. Got anything? I don't know.  You're the one who said he requested changes to their methods.

I'm simply saying that Bezos is not the kind of person who spends a ton of money buying a newspaper, "requests" changes, and then backs off when someone says no.  That's not how he operates.

No I didn't. I said Amazon had no impact on WaPo. I also said the Post said Bezos had done nothing to alter their editorial and news reporting policies. I asked for an example of how Bezos or Amazon has affected the way WaPo reports the news. Not looking for personal insults. Then you sound like Eddie.

Guess again rookie.

http://www.businessinsider.com/how-the-washington-post-changed-after-jeff-bezos-acquisition-2016-5

What the article doesn't discuss is what impact Bezos may have had on their opinions.  There's nothing to say that he's had any impact but I'm sure there's plenty we don't know about his impact on how they view political events.

One thing is for sure - you were dead wrong on him having any impact.

Classic Dewey moving the goal posts when you've been proven wrong.  Good times.
