Seems bogus to title this thread the obama legacy. Trying to pin on obama the social woes evidenced by this latest outburst is disingenuous. Sometimes we try too hard to disparage obama, at the expense of being taken seriously. Need to do the work if you want to effectively dismantle politicians.

Recently everything that happens during gwb's presidency was blamed on him - turnabout is fair play.

Race relations are worse than when Obama took office. Fact.

Race relations have been made intentionally worse by this administration.  This POS POTUS knew exactly what he was doing.  He's eating his popcorn and drinking his beer right now to the carnage on CNN

Sorry for disagreeing with you...didn't figure you would go for the personal insults.

Must be an Obama supporter thing. Continue your defense, by all means though, don't address the point being made.

Agreed. Does it surprise anyone that a black president would intentionally act to do what he thinks will promote black people? All I'm saying is when you title a thread the obama legacy and your lead is the sh1tstorm in milwaukee, it's weak.

Trying to be serious here, I wish another opinion would title and link for us 'their' obama legacy.  obama's legacy will be full of hyperbole but like Durden said, the left blamed EVERYTHING on Bush as dewy continues to do to this very day.  Early, what is the obama legacy?  Where is this country further ahead and please don't give me the gays in the military and ending waterboarding, unless you have to.

Take all of Grizzly's links above, could this have occurred under a president that didn't welcome the behavior and so openly support BLM?  No, obama owns the state of the union

Gays in the military lol damn that was gonna be my go-to accomplishment.
But seriously, you know I'm an obama fan. Already declared why on other threads. But as to pointing at milwaukee as his legacy, I suppose what loses my interest is that everything that happens, everywhere, for the past 8 years can start a thread with that title. Seems bizarre to me. And of course dewey has been humping GWB's leg for the past few years. Doesn't make me want to emulate his humpage. I'll leave that to turden.
Specifically to Milwaukee, I'm a big states-rights guy. It aggravates me that the governor of Wisconsin doesn't clean up his own mess. It's not the fed govt's mess, it's Milwaukee's mess, which means it's Wisconsin's mess, which means the buck should stop at the governor's office. I want states rights. I want governor's to take care of problems in their own states. If it isn't EXPLICITLY given to the feds as a power, it isn't theirs. Dept of Ed, EPA, all those bogus entities that have no authority in the Cx. All should be abolished.
Sorry I digressed a little, I got excited.

For being a state rights guy, I didn't see you calling out dewster for blaming the Katrina response on GWB, but I agree, let's just skip over that.

Let's talk about his legacy then.

Since he is so brilliant on foreign policy, how's that peace prize thing working out?

I want states rights. I want governor's to take care of problems in their own states. If it isn't EXPLICITLY given to the feds as a power, it isn't theirs. I agree with that.

Then can we get your "But seriously, you know I'm an obama fan", obama to stay out of this one?  He makes comments about every police confrontation [doing their jobs] in America BEFORE HE KNOWS FACTS.  He sounds like he supports the rioting.  Let's wait and see his words to the masses here.

BTW, grizzlyfan gonna do what grizzlyfan gonna do.  He hasn't been conquered by dewy, he's sneaky that way

Yea agreed, obama's reaction and handling of all the anti-police rhetoric has been inexcusable. He's a douche on that for sure. And yea the heads of the doj and fbi have zero balls.
With that said, imo the governor shouldn't give one F what obama has to say about blm/race/police when it is time for the governor to put down riots or anti-police violence. obama can spew his blm support, cuz like our man griz, obama gonna do what obama gonna do.
(hadda edit to say that I thoroughly enjoyed your quick insertion of the cartoon. I must admit, that is squarely in the wheelhouse of an obama legacy comment )

Seems to me the mayor is first in line to clean up the mess and the governor starts by offering assistance. If the mayor wants the state's help or isn't getting the job done, then the governor gets involved.

FTR, Gov. Walker just declared a state of emergency.

Speaking of legacy and not Milwaukee, the Nobel Peace prize will now always be considered hollow, no substance, all meat and no potatoes

Can anyone name who has won it since 2009?  Didn't think so

Father failed the son

“What are we gonna do now? Everyone playing their part in this city, blaming the white guy or whatever, and we know what they’re doing. Like, already I feel like they should have never OK'd guns in Wisconsin. They already know what our black youth was doing anyway. These young kids gotta realize this is all a game with them. Like they’re playing Monopoly. You young kids falling into their world, what they want you to do. Everything you do is programmed. I had to blame myself for a lot of things too because your hero is your dad and I played a very big part in my family’s role model for them. Being on the street, doing things of the street life: Entertaining, drug dealing and pimping and they’re looking at their dad like 'he’s doing all these things.' I got out of jail two months ago, but I’ve been going back and forth in jail and they see those things so I’d like to apologize to my kids because this is the role model they look up to. When they see the wrong role model, this is what you get. They got us killing each other and when they even OK'd them pistols and they OK'd a reason to kill us too. Now somebody got killed reaching for his wallet, but now they can say he got a gun on him and they reached for it. And that’s justifiable. When we allowed them to say guns is good and it’s legal, we can bear arms. This is not the wild, wild west y’all. But when you go down to 25th and center, you see guys with guns hanging out this long, that’s ridiculous, and they’re allowing them to do this and the police know half of them don’t have a license to carry a gun. I don’t know when we’re gonna start moving. I’ve gotta start with my kids and we gotta change our ways, to be better role models. And we gotta change ourselves. We’ve gotta talk to them, put some sense into them. They targeting us, but we know about it so there’s no reason to keep saying it’s their fault. You play a part in it. If you know there’s a reason, don’t give in to the hand, don’t be going around with big guns, don’t be going around shooting each other and letting them shoot y’all cause that’s just what they’re doing and they’re out to destroy us and we’re falling for it," Patrick Smith said Sunday.

I mean where is Obama??? Playing golf??? People are dying here. We need help and now. No, on second thought, go ahead and play golf, and leave us the F alone. Traitors like Obama should not be tolerated. Next up, a warm and fuzzy feel good speech on race relations, and why Blacks should be allowed to riot, and burn down cities, and Whites should feel ashamed for questioning their motives. Enough already people. Even the Black community must be tired of this sh#t show that is called a President.

When Obummer comes out and fans the flames of racial division by perpetrating a lie on numerous occasions, Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, Freddie Gray, etc...  you darn right this is his legacy.
Own it libtards! This is what you traded for in exchange for a promise of all those freebies.
