Here is my theory which I think has a ton of merit.

George Soros masterminded a plan to create a race riot by hiring people to pretend to be white supremacists to start stirring up trouble.  He also created and funded Antifa, knowing that the two groups would eventually clash.  He then relied on Trump to fumble the response, just as he did.

We now have a continuing false narrative that people on the right are a bunch of racists and Trump is enabling and encouraging them.  Soros hopes this leads to Trump's impeachment and removal from office.

The hope is that this will severely cripple the Republicans and open the way for Democrats to regain control of Congress and the White House.

Rather than focus on good policy-making, they will take this Wily Coyote approach to a power grab.

I guess I missed, because I didn't have time to look through all the posts

Did Bama and Fresh disavow Antifa yet, after watching them beat a guy into a coma who was walking to get groceries?

Have you denounced Antifa specifically without mention of anyone else?  I believe Trump was excoriated for denouncing both sides and not focusing solely on one side.

I was sitting around the other day.  Thinking.  And what I was thinking would be be great if KPI could make a return and do a, well like a post series on Racism.

On where she tells us all the ways that we are racist, but that we probably don't understand.  That would be pretty special, yeah?

I think you give some people too much credit for:

a) being smart enough to put a plot like that together
b) getting enough people to go along with it

Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems like a reach.

Who cares about Charlottesville?

How about Berkeley?  Police withdraw, and watch as a guy gets beaten into a coma.

When these Antifa people come down south, they will find out that the whole country is not pansies.

Remember that people thought George Bush was dumb but also fooled the entire world about WMD.

yup.  they'll keep hammering away in the liberal bastions, because they get away with.

One day, they'll get emboldened, and go to a place that won't put up with it.  Either law enforcement will intervene, like they should, or citizens will start to act.

Either way, it will go badly.
