Not sure how that was meant but I'll respond, lol. Tech has some talent, Tech coaches do not have talent. When your lead off gets on, you have 3 outs to move her and she is left on second then you failed coaching 101. That is an every game incident not just a one time thing. If a girl is being overaggressive and gets caught or makes a mistake then she is not using her head. When a girl is not aggressive and plays conservative then she is afraid of losing. I look back on every loss and not once has Gregory said "that's on me, I should have made adjustments" or "maybe I left so and so in too long or pulled her too soon". It has always been on the girls. Now compare that to Gayjewski, he(and his assts.) is pumping up the girls, interacting with fans, the girls are in the dugout doing chants, showing emotions when they walk or get a hit. They have completely bought into what he is selling. The confidence he instills into his players vs what Gregory is doing is night and day. And I want Tech to succeed as much as anyone, I am a fan. I just do not think this staff has what it takes to be successful. And by successful I mean .500 plus seasons and making the 64 2 of every 3 years. That is not unreasonable in my book.

Oh my point was that Gregory herself doesn't have the talent to coach this team. Texas Tech has talented players and can get more, but I think Gregory needs to find her way out.

Trust me, as a UGA fan I am very thankful for the two Lady Raiders the coaching change gifted us. The talent is obviously there. I hope Texas Tech gets it figured out.

1-17 last 18 games, 1-14 last 15 Bi2 12 games and losses to Abilene Christian and UTSA(2). If Gregory is still here next year it will be a huge disappointment!! I was not a fan from day one and probably a little too critical but after this season(I know a few games are left) it should be obvious that she is not the one to get Tech to a respectable level. 2 girls with .300+ BA, all pitchers have 4.00 ERA's or better. Not sure what elese there is to gain. Broken record, I know!!

Get ready to be disappointed... I heard she's on a 4 year contract, no way they buy out a softball coach especially when they let their below avg. Football Coach stay.

I believe it was a 5 year with an evaluation after 3.

That's even worst right?? Unless something bad happens they won't buy out a softball coach and pay 2 years salary to them. Right?

Okay I think your right on that.... so 5 years with an "option" I'm guessing they do with an evaluation... that just means the university can renew her early or give new terms for last two years I think.. you think they would fire her and have to pay out 2 years salary?

Probably not, but wishful thinking.
