#18 Bolinger against Arizona
2017/ 5.2 innings 1 hit
2018/ 4.1 " 1 hit
If Clark stays on it will be #18 vs #18 in Tucson.

I guess if they wanted the sweep in Austin they should've thrown McQ again. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Candrea simply has to let the other two pitchers take their lumps and earn their stripes...and allowed it today. I think Mowatt's influence is good all around.

Disagree. There's a couple pitchers who haven't yet played. Put them in the circle. Conference play is getting close. What happens if McQ or Hannah or Denham gets hurt?

Edited: sorry, this probably belongs in the Arizona thread...

Texas will be back the next couple of recruiting classes are going to be pretty good. The 19 class is top 10 in my opinion with multiple players in flosoftball top 100. The 20 class is even stronger with flosoftball # 2 player wincher and a top pitcher from college station Hudson I think.

Flosoftball has Texas ranked #39 for it's 2019 class (one player #82 in the hot 100).

They have Texas ranked #14 for 2020 (#2, #27, $140, #150).

Texas has a chance to battle Ok State for third in Big 12 this year behind Ok and Bay. TT is terrible and Kan is going nowhere. Iowa State?

Records through 3/13/18:

Tech:  16-8
Texas: 9-11

Neither team has been stellar, but Tech has a couple more "decent" wins.

ISU has couple decent wins and some really bad losses.  Playing a little better defensively than in the past has helped.  Williams is a stud and Weilbacher has been throwing well.  Need more to step up to contend for 4th.  5th again is probably more realistic.  Looking forward to March 29th!

TT is terrible I repeat terrible! Gregory is a massive failure and will never win in the Big 12. Cant keep or get good players. Mostly hear its a pretty bad environment to play in.  Dont know much about Iowa State but they are certainly peddling uphill. Have not seen them play.

Texasโ€™s upcoming stretch of games should see them climb over the .500 mark. And their schedule overall from here on out seems very manageable. With a decent showing against OU, OkState and BU, might UT have a shot at the Natโ€™l Tournament? Get swept by those 3, though, and I suspect they have no shot.

They may turn their record around (by playing in the powerful College of Charleston tournament) but so far they are 2-7 against ranked teams.  I don't see that record getting much better after they play OU, Baylor and then their conference tournament.  Based on their accomplishments so far not deserving of an NCAA bid IMO.
