In the past, GOP tax cuts have been much like a pyramid scheme.  Americans today end up with more money and Americans who come in later, not so much.  Those late to the game generally see greater Government debt, along with greater interest obligations, wiping out any tax savings.  Several years ago we gave ourselves tax cuts and today our kids owe $20T.  Now are kids will receive their own current day tax cut and their kids will soon see a debt of $30+ Trillion.  I only hope somewhere along the way we find a way to pay for the modernization this Country so dearly needs.

To the tune of 1.4 million federal employees, with an average pay of $123,160.

If there's massive overspending by the Federal Government, why doesn't the Trump Administration cut it out?  I did think once the Republicans ran everything, and they failed to even attempt to reduce spending significantly as they've always claimed was possible, citizens would finally understand it cost a great deal to run this Country and the belief we just throw most of the money away is inaccurate.

Why is Dewey scared to post under his own name?  He himself said it shows a lack of conviction in what you believe

Trump initiated a hiring freeze.  Cut most departments 10-20%.  Massive cuts in bloated EPA.  Massive cuts in other Education department.

He is doing quite a lot.  Republican congress, whelp not so much.  I recommend that come 2018 we hire more fiscal conservatives than we currently have.  Once congress starts to act, we can make the types of deep cuts that will really get our economy rolling.

Let's see how it goes.  I am excited.

Adds 1.5 trillion to the debt. Growing the wealthy bank accounts first priority. Just heard that from Ryan. They apparently will spread that money arround more equitably than the people that earned it. Good strategy.

"Let's see how it goes."

Republicans said that with Bush and after our debt went way up, they revolted.  Like I said previously, in three or seven years I expect another "Rand or Ron Paul" type to rise from the Party saying those Republicans are a bunch of RINO's.  If our debt is up another five or ten trillion, what will Republicans point to as examples of success?

Dewey seems convicted enough to post the same information over and over and over again.

It's good to know he is not really convinced it is correct, or he would be posting using his real name.

A couple makes $80,000 a year, has $25,000 in mortgage interest, charity, and tax deductions, leaving a $55,000 taxable income.  In years past they would include their $8000 exemption and pay tax on $47000.  Figuring 10% on the first $19,000 and 15% on the next $28,000, tax owed was $6100.

This new tax bill will take away this couple's $8000 tax exemption leaving them taxable income of $55,000.  Paying the new 12% rate on this amount means tax owed is $6600.  If I have this all correct, tax increase for them appears to be $500.

A couple with taxable income of one million dollars will see Federal income tax drop from about $337,000 to $303,000.  A little less than a $34,000 cut assuming they are in a State without state income tax.
