really doesnt need to cry but instead run laps. I noticed she was laboring out there but king was not. She needs to go back to the weight room lift weights and have a healthier diet. im sure the outcome would have been different if she wasn't tired.

That is someone’s daughter you’re talking about. Can we instead, congratulate her on an All-American season and national runner-up finish.

At the risk of being lumped in with these slimeballs, I do have one observation:

The great Keilani Ricketts was vocal enough in proclaiming that getting herself into much better shape made her much better.

I think everyone should try to be in the best physical shape they can be, not doing so can increase the risk for injuries and other stuff, but I'm just speaking in general

Why be so rude about a young lady? She is beautiful. Plus she has had a rib injury.

It's not being rude it's constructive criticism. 2014 Hannah rogers won the NCAA title
2015 aleshia ocasio won game 1 Lauren heager isn't a stick either so she doesn't really count
2017 Parker won the title
See the coloration?

There was zero constructive criticism in your first post and you know that.

Alvelo pitched the best of her career this year, without question. Her velocity and movement were both increased up until her injury and she worked hard on her change and drop in the off-season. People don't have any idea what's going on with Alvelo's weight or what she is doing about it. Suffice it to say the Huskies are working with her to help her be as healthy and effective as she can be.

not best enough to win it all... she was out of breath because she is top heavy. She'll feel so much better once she loses about 15-25 pounds

UW has traditionally been strong in terms of S&C. I'm sure anything that needs to be addressed will be addressed in the offseason, and message board whackos will continue to be message board whackos.

It is very sad to be discussing one’s weight and fitness. It’s rude. Stop the body shaming and let her be her own self. Female student athletes get enough shaming. How about you look at all she accomplished she pushed through. That’s a player many teams/coaches would love to have. Class act.

I bet you sit behind your computer trying to rape kids in chatrooms.

She is better than you will ever be, I wanna see you go out in a championship softball series and throw the way she did, or throw the way she has all season.

Oh wait, you can't because you live a sad life shaming selfless women.

If she was so fat, why would she be playing sports and conditioning every day to get where she is, she led the Huskies to the championship game, and although the outcome wasn't what she wanted, she still looks better than you ever will.

BTW here is a picture of the girl you are calling "fat":

Image result for Taran Alvelo

She looks pretty muscular, not fat.
