His record is already better than a Lilly Ledbetter Act

Yes I understand complacency is not an attribute one would normally claim

If you do, you could write a book.  "How to go from salty to complacent"  Seems there is some demand for that book now.

I will wait until yours and Dewey's coauthoring of "How to sell your soul and lie your ass off constantly to try to cover for the lies of the POTUS".

I missed the memo - Got I now, thanks.

Is that what I said?  I said it's important that Hillary is not in the White House.  Irrespective of what Trump does, that is still a good thing.

Mike, I think you've lost perspective.  I'm surprised.  Like I've asked before, did Trump do something to you personally?

Yes.  Trump called jeb, sleepy jeb.  Trump called ted, lying ted.  On top of all that he won, when mikec said he would not.  So that is super personal, apparently.  He won the republican nomination and then he won the general election.  Despite a never ending of continuous posting, here, how no way in hell Trump wins anything.

Never not once a 'Whelp, got that one wrong."  just an endless desire to prove that he cannot get over anything ever.

So move right into deweys seat helming the nubile reporter muh Russia investigation.  Then bail like dewey does.  Make sure you are throwing out that someone else is behaving like dewey.

Exactly right. And is why voting for trump was critical. It was always a 2 prong mission: Keep hillary the F out of the WH, and get 2-3 conservative SCJ's nominated. It really is that simple. Nevertrumpers somehow just don't get this, don't believe it, or are too selfishly clinging to an unrecoverable past with an unrealistic eye to the present and future.

I suppose it was all about the SCOTUS when you helped elect Obama twice also.  Spare me.

Yes - that's what I said.  And in reply, you said,

"so, no matter how idiotic of a thing he does or says, how many campaign promises he breaks, he memorializes Obamacare for all eternity, no matter what it is - he's not Hillary gets him a 4 yr free pass. "

Again - is that what I said?  Have you known me to be the person who gives Trump a free pass?

In the context of that discussion, that is how it seemed.

Apologies for getting it wrong.

No apology necessary.  I just think you've been blinded a bit by what looks from my perspective to be pure unadulterated hatred for Trump.

No.  I am sick of every lie, broken promise, and stupid idiotic thing being touted as though he is the exalted savior.

- No wall
- Obamacare here to stay, though arguably in an even worse program
- No income tax reform
- Huge federal budget
- Gov't paid maternity care (ie - yet another entitlement program to pay for)
- Iran program here forever
- Carrier moving plant to Mexico
- Ford moving plant to China
- reckless tweeting endangering Americans overseas
- Lying about tons of things (ie- Comey tapes) is somehow pure genius

It goes on and on.  Yet, each of these things proves his brilliance.

On another thread, he was given credit for GA lawmakers putting their necks out, requiring a work or job training requirement for welfare.

Conservatives have sold out.  They will justify anything.

But, it's all good, and it's just me that has lost his mind.

- No wall - did you expect it to be built by this time?
- Obamacare here to stay, though arguably in an even worse program - too soon to declare
- No income tax reform - not yet
- Huge federal budget - how long should it take to turn it around?
- Gov't paid maternity care (ie - yet another entitlement program to pay for) - i share your concern on this one
- Iran program here forever - not so sure about this
- Carrier moving plant to Mexico - yes, i see he hasn't bragged about this
- Ford moving plant to China - hadn't heard about this but would be disappointing
- reckless tweeting endangering Americans overseas - example?
- Lying about tons of things (ie- Comey tapes) is somehow pure genius - don't agree on this; he forced Comey to say things he might not have said otherwise

Sure you do.  Part that is in question is if you can recognize butthurt from not butthurt.

I suppose in trumpland, not butthurt would be those who embrace lying.  In political terms, they will now support everything that a year ago they opposed.  Party over country.

Yeah, I can recognize it.

With regard to lying, I'm with Bluedog on this - all politicians lie.  Worse, they lose their nerve when it comes to making difficult choices.  Our $20 trillion debt is not solely the fault of Obama or the Democrats.  The Republicans, including every one of them currently in office, allowed it to happen.

Does Trump lie?  Of course.  Do you believe he lies more than other politicians?  I don't know.  He makes ridiculous claims but he's not a stupid man and I have to believe there's a purpose behind at least some of them.

My problem with Trump is that he's a liberal.  I don't believe he'll cut spending.  I don't believe that he'll stop the bleeding when it comes to our national debt.  But on the foreign policy front, he's surrounded himself with damn good people with the jury still out on Tillerson.

If you think some of us have forgotten right from wrong, you're mistaken.

Sure you can.  You posted your list of lies.  Haha.

Just take the first one.  No wall.

Immigration has dropped significantly via Trump using only EO, and enforcing the law.  Images nightly on local news in liberal cities of ICE raiding illegal immigrant criminal enterprises and deporting the offenders.  More EO action + enforcement to come by applying welfare and public charge laws correctly.    Mexico reports the number of south americans coming through Mexico has dropped significantly.

Trump says wall itself is in next budget cycle, which is his first full budget (not a CR).

Most important Dems on full freak out mode as their inflow of votes falls off everyday.  Something no other republican was willing to take on.  Trump took a stand when all others played stoopid politics with hard working Americans and their desire to not be invaded to prop up the Democratic party.

Each and everyone of your 'lies' are equally stupid.

Then you complain on why you get no respect.   Let me know which lie you have that you want me to dismantle next?

Some of the folks here have.  Or, maybe they never knew it in the first place.  Since they are newer here, I can't tell.

Lies and spin, lies and spin.

And, show me a post where I have complained about why I get no respect.

I may be wrong, but I very much doubt that has ever happened.

I have worked on behalf of GOP candidates all my adult life.  Then this.  Now I am immune to their pleadings.
