First... congratulations to Gwen Svekis on beginning her coaching career with Indiana. I hope she has a great time there and helps a lot of players.

Scupino - why are you being such a dick about a player, who was the NFCA national catcher of the year for 2018, beginning her coaching career..?

Gwen put up a career .337 BA, a .428 OBP, a .638 SLG%, and a 1.066 OPS.  Those are some excellent numbers.
She led Oregon in SLG%, OPS, HR, RBI and total bases in 2018.
She was a catcher who helped her team to a 1.38 ERA in 2018.
Those are all excellent credentials.

Oregon won 206 games during her 4 years there - while losing just 36. That's a .851 winning percentage - and she was a big part of that.

You whine when someone posted her stats vs. Arizona for the 2018 season (demanding to see her career stats vs. AZ)...
and then it turns out she had a .577 career BA vs. Arizona (with a .633 OBP, a 1.308 SLG% and a 1.041 OPS).
And you are still not satisfied... after those stats made you look like an arrogant fool.

Geez... accept your beating with whatever bit of dignity you have left - and get your wounded a$$ off the field.

Scupino has no dignity or moral compass when he makes fun of someone with cancer. (acutally it's not the first time he's done that) It's pretty easy for him to hide behind his keyboard and belittle players, coaches, and anyone who disagrees with him. KARMA will not be kind to him.  He better pray his DD pans out at UofA.

Svekis is a classy young lady and had a great career. To say otherwise is telling about the critic.
