You are making this up. The kid still hasn’t talked to anyone, nor has she committed.

No, this is once again another post by softballjunkie. She does not even have a twitter. The only person you can trust about where Saile commits, is CoachZ.

If Georgia gets her, that's a huge game changer for SEC contenders.

Sucks her coach wouldn’t allow her to transfer to another Florida school.

He'll answer for that in time. Maybe not immediately, maybe not in a year or two, but he will. He's done more harm to his reputation than good.

Saile to SC would be a great move! Head coach is pitching coach and will not be leaving anytime soon. Defense is arguably the BEST in the SEC, some other schools she has visited the defenses are questionable. The offense at SC will continue to get better and have some good additions coming in as well. Got a good taste of what it is gonna take to get past Supers last year, having the main nucleus returning should be a big benefit.
Have first hand knowledge the pitching staff would be very open to this. They feel she would make them all better. Saile fits the pitching staff perfectly as she is a completely different pitcher then anything they have now!
Anyway just my 2 cents as I know she is visiting a ton of schools. The program is really moving in a great direction the last couple of years, with a addition like Saile it could take this one to the promise land very quickly.

The best defense in the SEC is definitely Florida, but she can't go there...

I wonder if she wanted to go to Florida or fsu if had the opportunity to and which school would she have chosen?
I'm excited to see where she lands huge pick up to whichever coach she signs with.

If she wanted to, IMO, she would have redshirted.

Could be hard to turn down a program like oklahoma that has accomplished so much over the last few years.

The eligible team that I believe could be vaulted the most by a Saile transfer would probably be Arizona. And, if the young lady loves great in-conference places to travel to, there is no competition IMO

I don't think you can say Florida's defense is definitely the best in the SEC.  If you look at conference stats there could be an argument that a couple teams may have performed better.

I suppose it's because softball hasn't gotten to the point where advanced data gathering is cost effective, but it is interesting how "1980s" softball is compared to where baseball is today.  I assume (hope!) coaches are doing more than simply looking at fielding percentage to decide how good a defender someone is.  I've personally seen players who commit hardly any errors but really aren't all that good defensively, if you look at their positioning, ability to track, etc., and how many hits they allow on balls in play that should be turned into outs.

Not applying this specifically to UF or any team in the SEC, but an observation that the current softball defensive stats we all can view sometimes have precious little to do with how good or bad a player or team is defensively.
