I hear Fouts is good, but I wouldn’t put so much weight on that JC transfer. She had similar numbers to Jessica Elliott at SC, and that didn’t hold in the SEC

It will come down to how Fouts does and how the offense can back up the pitchers

Depends on how fouts does at the next level. She may be the greatest in high school, but some kids have it to play in college and post good numbers while others don't.

i love my team. but i choose to invest in them when they get on campus. i def don’t keep up with recruiting or HS accolades. i just know the team is going to improve. i always feel like the tide does better when ppl do not expect them to.

afterall, they won it the year after they lost dunne.

I am excited about what Beverly has rolling down in South Carolina

Some big time recruits are on the way as well, IMO she was my SEC coach of the year last season

you never know who the next traina will be. and pretending like kids who have to work for what they get......and when i say that, i mean to prove naysayers wrong, well THAT....is a tough adversary to beat.

excited to see how they do. and if they don't win a national championship, i will still be in their corner and excited for the year after that.

The Lady Vols have some big talent coming in next season. Hopefully Rogers will work out better than what Sprang has so far and they are getting Maddie Shipman’s lil sister. Plus Vines will be back. TN could be hard to beat next season.

Isn't that what people said last season. Did you forget they lost the single best player in Tennessee history?

They were good up until conference play, though, they were a great team, just not great enough to make it to the WCWS. But they really need to find consistent pitchers if they want to make it back. Moss and Arnold haven't shown what they need to get them there as they have lost two straight SR with them.

We heard much of this last year, plus y'all lost some big big bats

Now with that said, you do return Arnold and Moss, but the overall pitching has to be much better. There is a lack of consistency on the mound for Tennessee. Sprang had a really rough time last season and had some control issues. Maybe she will settle down and move forward this coming year.

I agree Rogers is extremely talented, we will see how she does

FYI, Moss battled severe tonsillitis most of the season and was in and out of the hospital. Arnold also had some serious back issues going on. It was reported some games she could barely walk off the field. Hopefully these issues get fixed over the summer and they both come back strong next season.

I think...

Florida, South Carolina, Tennessee, Arkansas, Georgia, LSU, Alabama, Kentucky will most likely. Auburn, Texas A&M are on the bubble for hosting. Ole Miss, Miss State, and Missouri will definitely not.

Anderson will bring Cornell with her from Hofstra, as well as some others possibly. I'm thinking of the players who will transfer out  after her first year.  Since she has been a head coach she has had a lot of players transfer out of her program.  Fire one to hire another???? Time will tell.

If Cornell wants to make it in the SEC she needs to stop giving up the long ball every big game. Same with Dandola if she chooses to go to Mizzou. I remember that in one series against JMU last season, Dandola and Cornell gave up a combined like 15 homeruns in 2 days...

She gave up 30HR in 42 appearances.

You'll need a slide rule to calculate what those numbers would be with an SEC type schedule.

Kinda figured Cornell may follow Anderson to Mizzou.  It will be interesting to see how she does against SEC hitting.

Gabby is gone from UT, Matty had her tonsils removed and Caylan is resting a sore back. So Ashley better be ready because she will see a lot of action starting with game 1 in the fall. She may not be lights out at first but will provide much needed help for Matty and Caylan.
