To get experience ... at Buffalo.

Now, he has that on the resume.

I will stand that he is the only coach in history to be pitching coach for more than one school that reached the Final Four

Not saying he wouldn’t be a phenomenal hire. Just it doesn’t seem like the direction he’s going.

Yet you have Tennessee above Georgia? We beat your staff head to head

While I was impressed by the improvement, I still think Arkansas got a pretty good bit to go to make it as a top 4 SEC team.  I know KY and LSU still have issues also, but I'll need to see something more to think they have the hitting or the pitching of a team that's going to win more than 12-13 SEC games.  They are competitive...that's wonderful.  But they aren't going to shut down teams that often and they still have big gaps in the lineup....like Auburn does...that you can pitch around with a quality pitcher.

The last two years, what SEC pitchers have graduated/transferred.... and what pitchers have come in?

Blue
Carlson
Gourley
Gray
Hoover
Lee
Littlejohn
Ocasio
Osorio
Prince
Walljasper

Who has replaced them?

Moss was sick the entire season with her tonsils. She has now had them removed and Arnold had an injured back. Sprang was supposed to take the load off of them and well we all seen how that went. TN has a Freshman pitcher coming in that will hopefully not be another Sprang and with Moss and Arnold hopefully being back to 100% TN should be pretty good in the circle. They did lose Gregg but have a big bat coming in with Madison Shipman’s little sister, who I look to take over behind the plate.

Haff/AR
Ballman/KY
Oh/SC
Are 3 notable Freshman from last year. Fouts/AL probably the best incoming Frosh for 2019. I"m probably leaving somebody out.

Not sure that Sprang’s lack of development is her fault.

Her delivery is horrible and could really wear down on her arm. Seems as though the TN coaches could identify and correct that.

Tier 1
Carlson
Gourley
Littlejohn
Ocasio
Osorio
Walljasper

Tier 2
Blue
Gray (in this group only because she did struggle her FR and SO year)
Prince

Transfers In
Lee
Hoover

There are absolutely no real replacements for those Tier 1 pitchers.  The Tier 2 pitchers seem to be replaced a little easier.

Oh, Gorusch (sp?), Baalman, Haff all seem like equivalent replacements to that Tier 2 group.

Transfers In listed only because replacements for those pitchers could still be out there if we are going to say one graduated transfer to one new transfer.

TN needs a new pitching coach without a doubt.

It's time for the coaching staff to kick the bucket as well. Tennessee will never not only make it to the wcws but hoist the trophy.

Nobody mentioned Harrington above - also Show transferred out.  And just an observation, Humes gave Auburn more trouble than Baalman did.  She threw an 11-inning shutout, only to lose 0-1 on a solo homer in bot 12.

Just stop with the excuses. We lost our ace who was dominating her senior year, yet we still found a way. They weren't too injured to miss multiple games that mattered.

Time will tell, a little skeptical though

Curious how that incoming freshman does for y'all. Hard to predict how a true freshman will adjust to college level her first season

Yep, Freshman the big question mark. How is Rogers doing on her Travel Team? Haven't heard a whisper.

Also, how is the MI/C recruit Gracie Osbron doing after she either broke or severely injured her lower leg in Boulder I believe?
