Good for Arkansas, Deifel is a great coach.

Expect a good year for them this year, the recruiting definitely has taken major steps forward. Arkansas is about move past a couple SEC programs who are getting complacent.

A&M would be at the top of my list. Teams like Tennessee and LSU should also watch their backs.

A&M for sure with the turmoil going on in College Station for sure, its been an issue that been slowly brewing apparently.

LSU if they do not address the offense, the hitting has been anemic for years with no changes.

Tennessee I guess as well with how the pitching/pitching staff has been handled. The Weekly's recruit well though.

Anyways the conference will be stronger with a Arkansas program on the rise, I like what Deifel has going on down there.

Don’t post NEGATIVE things about programs based based on your opinion and speculation unless you specifically state a disclaimer. It’s unnecessary and misleading. You do realize that some people will take your post as THE truth, which it’s not.

Calm down lol, It was just a opinion

I did not mean to degrade anyone. A rising Arkansas program though is one to watch though for sure. I like what is going on in Fayetteville.

Did you by chance read the 8 1/2 simple rules when you joined or do you just wish to ignore them.... In case you did not do the first or did the second here is a refresher link.

This is a forum, open discussion and OPINION(I CAN USE ALL CAPS TOO)!

An SEC thread with only fact! BwaaHahaha

Followed TN vs UK last weekend. Seemed UK handled any of the pitching that TN threw at them. Rematch on the books for this weekend.

My point is, people who don’t post anything haven’t read that information. More importantly, I still don’t know why it’s necessary to post negative opinions.

Kentucky hammered the Lady Vol pitching. Gonna be hard to recover from that. One of the hits was a 3 rum bomb off of Moss

It will be interesting to see if Moss can regroup this season and how the incoming freshmen will do. Sprang didn't pan out as expected but she was only a true freshman. Its tough to pitch in this conference period, let alone a true freshman,.

It could be interesting to see where UK ends up this year in the conference. Schedule should be more favorable than last year. Lots of experience back. At least on paper.

Baalman should be better as well. She really started coming on strong at the end of last season

If we want softball taken as seriously as mens sports its going to include negative comments and opinions.  I love that people care enough about college softball to speak their mind.  It sucks when its our daughters getting ripped on, but I'd rather have that then a bunch of fluff about how hard they tried or how pretty they looked.

I like you, Dad (as I'm sure 34 does). Your posts are almost always thoughtful and reflect an adult perspective – things that are often hard to find on this forum.

As for this discussion, I'm still trying to figure out exactly what was said that was offensive to a certain poster.

I didn't see anything really offensive either.  Apparently hes never seen the Maryland or LSU threads.

Thanks for the nice words.  I'm sure there's some whos read my posts and think "Who is this idiot".  Yours are a little biased toward OU, but I still like them.

34 was HS number.  Its 17 now, but I wasn't to going to bother changing my name over it.

LOL. Yep, I can't deny it. I am just slightly biased.

34sDad, I was always curious which DD was yours as I couldn’t find a 34 on the roster, now it’s crystal clear. Thanks for the clarification.

I was actually in front of you with Jerry Pendley when you got hit with the foul ball, unfortunately he had a torn shoulder and couldn’t raise his arm or he would have protected you and caught that ball. He just had surgery to correct that.

You guys gave us a run for our money in that game, good luck this season!

I forgot about the foul. Small world. That was a fun game and such a cool atmosphere. OU fans have always been great to us when we’re down there. Thanks for the well wishes and good luck to the Sooners too. (Not that they need it!)

Kentucky should be really good this year. they return a lot of experience from last years squad. Some really talented newcomers, and Lawson is very good coach.
