Must be some new math because stat line shows her giving up 3ER.

Her game 2 stat line very nice.

Overall ERA is 1.16 — ERA before this game was .97

Overall ERA for Haff is 1.07, where you get your stats from?

I don’t know her current exact ERA. I was helping the gentleman above who seemed to think that she was given an era of 1.16 for today. I assumed it was her overall ERA because i do know that her ERA before today’s game was .97. There was only a random reason for me knowing that it was .97 — not following it that close, big guy.

Ok, maybe the 1.16 is a running total then. The Stat line was for that game. I wouldn't think it would be listed as running total

But .97 to 1.16 seems plausible as she gave up 3ER in last game today.

Mary Haff from Arkansas era after pitching 14 innings against Bama and giving up 3 ER is 1.07. She has pitched 143.2 innings and has given up 22 earned runs. 22*7 is 154, 154/143.667 is 1.07.

I wasn’t aware of how good she was after OU beat Arkansas I didn’t see the hype .I know Bama isn’t playing their best this year but Haafs pitches have some serious movement on them. She is easily a top 2-3 Sec pitcher imo. She’s is only getting better and I hope Arkansas keeps winning so they can boost our rpi.

Did I miss that game on either team's schedule, when did you play Arkansas?

OU played Arkansas in the fall pre-season, not the regular season. Arkansas’s performance this season has no direct bearing on OU’s RPI. Or am I missing something about how RPI works (completely possible)?

Well, don’t feel too bad - they did play a couple times last year! The memory is the first thing to go!

This is seven throws to the corners by my count, with two balls into the  OF and another GREAT play on a mid-hop by the 3B to prevent a third and a 5th run for Ole Miss.

If Vann gets a catching coach in there, that kid could be great.

But for the time-being, just make corner throws verboten

Georgia will go 2-1 or 1-2 versus Kentucky, but I think a sweep is out of the question until the defense gets more consistent behind Ablan/Avant.

Question- I believe Florida is 1 game ahead of Uga currently in the standings. Let's say this weekend is the last sec regular season series. Uga 2-1 while Florida goes 1-2. That will give Uga 1 more win than Florida but the same amount of losses. Does Uga win the regular season title based on their series win over Florida or does Uga win the regular season title because they have more wins than Florida does. Presumably that both stay in the top 2.

If the teams have played a different number of games their winning pct. will determine who finishes first . But the standings I'm looking at show Florida at 12-3 and Georgia 11-4 . In the scenario you describe , both teams would wind up 13-5 . I'm not sure if they would share the regular season title (like they do in basketball ) or not , but for seeding purposes in the SEC tournament they would go to the tie-breakers . I assume head-to-head matchup would be the first tie-breaker .

They would be co-champs of the regular season. They'd both be 13-5 as the poster above said. Georgia would be the #1 seed for the tournament and Florida would be the #2 seed.

She’s not getting a ton of opportunity and a quick hook seems in the offing when she does. I think she’s just “hearing footsteps”.

What happened to Morgan Bruce from Ole Miss? She has pitched very sparingly this season. Is she hurt?

Many touted her to be better than Caymol.  So let's see what Caymol does next year.

Caymol won’t be doing anything but getting ready for the 2020 season at Clemson.

Sprang fit the UT mold - tall, lefty, good speed, and she looked like a phenom when she was in 9th grade...now, not so much.
