This is a good game, Fresno State doesn't look intimidated at all.

1-1 top 5.

Does anyone know what the MLE stands for on the Michigan players? Just turned the game on - have they mentioned it?

Yeah this is one of those games where any defensive miscue could be costly, and FSU just had one.

The MLE stands for Emily who several years ago was a young cancer survivor.  She's now an adult but has stuck with the team ever since.  Heard she's had a set back just in the last few days and is now in the Mayo Clinic.

In fact, Montana has more players from Washington on its roster (seven) than Washington (six).

“We can take Montana fans with us, they can hop in the car and make the drive and all of my family will be there,” Griz first baseman Ashlyn Lyons said. “We’re gonna bring the Griz to the Huskies.”

I'd definitely be rooting for Montana if they weren't playing UW,  Pretty cool story, making the tournament in the third year of a program is impressive.

Pinkerton has done an outstanding job...16 to 29 to 35 wins successively.  Nice!

First run-rule loss of the season for Michigan.

UW's first seven batters were 13 for 21. Van Zee and DePonte were each 3 for 4 with 3 RBI.

Betsa pitched a no-hitter in the elimination game vs Fresno State. She walked two and had thirteen strikeouts- going over 400 this season. Aidan Falk had three of the four RBI with a two-run homer and a double.
