when a D1 kid is released from a program.........whats up from there?
Can another school contact her immediately? Do the same dead period rules apply for contact? Are there "conference" rules that keep a player from transfering to another team in the conference? Does a "released" player fall back into the same rules as a HS player on the recruiting circuit?

My Daugher went thru this last year. 1st you will need a permission to contact letter. We asked for 50 schools and they just issued a letter stating she may contact any school except in her conference. So that made it alot easier. 2nd She was a freshman so she contacted her travel ball coach to put her name out there. And then she began sending out the emails, actually had a better response than her senior year, had coaches flying out to see her play. But start with the permission to contact and then start emailing right away.
