But, ya know... While we are at it with this illegal talk... Does Danielle Williams (Northwestern signee) look illegal to anyone else? She pitched in the all-American game as well, and she certainly looked illegal at times, but... Well, yeah. Was just curious if anyone else thought the same.

Would make yet another leaper in the Northwestern bullpen. What a nightmare.

Danielle Williams looked pretty good to me saw her in Colorado and PGF...Had some nice pitches in her bag of tricks and could throw a change-up at anytime in the count...

They are not being forced to "get it".

I assume your talking about the east team's starting pitcher.  I don't think it's a matter of "getting it" so to speak as much as her PI not fixing her mechanical flaws and her never having to face the consequences through IP calls in games.  From what I saw of that game on youtube I was pretty surprised how bad some of the pitching mechanics were, particularly on the east team.

I couldn't see from the cf camera angle but her leaping is most likely caused by her stride leg coming down at the same time as her extended glove hand causing the counter-balancing move of her pivot foot becoming airborne.  If you watched her from the side I'd bet it looks a bit like she's pitching while falling down the basement stairs.  A good college coach can fix that pretty easily by having her practice pitching on a slight incline while working on keeping her glove hand from extending out and then down.  No ingrained muscle memory is easy to fix but that would be a lot easier than fixing a crow hopper.

The second pitcher for the east team looks like a much tougher project for a pitching coach.  She looked like she was constantly trying to pick up a 7-10 split at the bowling alley.

Also, what's up with PGmehF this year? No Pointstreak scores and stats and still no order of finish posted.

Bad parents!!!  They were harassing the scorekeepers.  No kid who is out there to support PGF should have to be subjected to that kind of treatment.  So, it was decided to remove them.

What are you talking about?

I never...NEVER ... saw that in four years out there. Not at Fountain Valley, not at Barber...not at HB.

If it was happening remove the team and keep the Pointstreak.  No place for that stuff on this stage...especially when folks back home just want to watch games.

Wow! If that wasn’t so sad it would be funny! Who cares about the PGF stats except the people who want to keep track of the games while their loved one is playing? Do these parents think the stats are going to make or break their kids’ scholarship offers? There will be plenty of mistakes in college stats too, get over it crazy parents!

I've seen it at HB in years past.  Sat right behind a scorekeeper when a parent checked Pointstreak and was pissed at how the play was scored.

I have also known kids that have said it in years past that they had it happen to them.  You may not have seen it, but it does happen.....A LOT!!!

I’m two years removed from PGF but I too saw it happen plenty. It’s sad that that kind of behavior caused the rest of us fans to lose out on more detailed game information.
