Katie Donovan three outs from a perfecto in Westwood... gives it up with two outs left, and then the no-no dies on the next hitter... Great performance

Ducks eke out tight game against Cal 2-1.  Typical Pac game, tight, tight, you make one tiny mistake and you lose....

Can't believe they got the UW game in, the weather's been dreadful.

Garcia groundout ends it, 7-2 Utah. KIP brought in McDuffee in the seventh, when it was 3-0

Do you think you would love to see them play the Tide in post season?  I can't imagine anyone in the PAC who wants to play them.

Yes.  And I think Yogi was thinking of them when he said "It ain't over 'til it's over"

I am pretty sure I saw McQuillin in tears in the circle against LBSU last Tuesday, so it looks like she definitely gathered herself and perhaps turned a corner that day!  Great for her!

Here's my suggestion. Give OU a top 8 seed and send Utah to them. Does that work for everyone??? [smile]

She usually does not react well when the enemy finally catches up to her speed.  McQuillin walked and a home run led to OSU coming back in the seventh today (Sunday) from 4 to 1 down to tie it and send to extra innings.  Despite the strikeouts good teams will measure her.  But to her credit after blowing the lead today she came back and got out of it in extra innings.  Thank you Perez for the home run to give her three runs to work with in the top of the 8th.

What is different about the Cats so far this year is their ability to come back in the 7th inning to win games, which is something they have been missing for years now.  It's a different feel to this team!  McQuillin best get her act together!

OK by me. Like Oklahoma's chances against just about anyone playing at home in Norman -- and in OKC! [smile]

Got THAT right

No bigger advantage in the championship round of any sport, at least one that draws more than fleas on TV

Crying in the circle at this level is super uncalled for my dear and I was saying that in response to the other comment that said McQ kind of loses it when she starts getting hit...which is what I saw. So...stop yourself.[smile]

PAC 12 Players of the Week:

The Wildcats’
Jessie Harper earned player and freshman of the week for her helping Arizona go 5-0 with a sweep at Oregon State.

Utah’s
Maria Viramontes won two of the three games with a .64 ERA as Utah swept No. 10 UCLA in Los Angeles to earn pitcher of the week honors.

What "pregame hype"? If you don't want to watch, don't. Jeez.
