Perhaps it was a spelling or dyslexia issue. Maybe he/she was trying to type "Trump is a peach."

Signature is what it is. If you don't like it, don't read my posts. I have been here longer than you and will respond as I wish, when I wish.

Depends who the electors were. Whomever was in charge would probably botch that up as badly as the presidential election and a team like Grambling would win.

I have not heard that, but have also been out of the loop this week.

If true, it would fit the recent pattern at Oregon of promoting lower-cost assistants to the head job.

Makes a bit of sense from a continuity standpoint. I’ve no firsthand information about how the current players view her, but she seems to have a good relationship with the from all outward appearances.

The most important question would then become who will coach pitching. The only way the loss of White is at all mitigated is by bringing in (and paying) a top-flite pitching coach.

Would Kolaitis have been in line first had he not departed for UAB?

Does OREGON not require a HC to have a bachelors degree? I do not believe Coach Spencer ever graduated from Cal????

Don’t know what happened to it. But another person says it’s not true. Guess we will wait and see.

It sounds like maybe that person did not take the job (if its who i heard, who would be an interesting hire) or perhaps wasnt offered. If it's the same person im not sure why you'd think they were significantly better than some of the other people mentioned.

I would be very surprised if this happens. She is happy where she is and has the best job lined up when PG is ready to retire.

Me too. I thought it might be an "I have a job offer from OR" give me more money play. That said, I'm not sure why the OK job in X years would be better than the OR job now.

I'd much rather take over for a coach who's retiring, rather than leaving to a new school. What White did with Oregon may not be replicated by another coach. Patty will leave OU the way she ran it. No telling what the new Oregon coach will inherit when the dust clears.
