Congratulations to Dail, she has come ways as a pitcher this year

Its unfortunate there is not a reliable 2nd pitcher that can help ease the load for her.

Dail pitched 3 games last week and won 3.
She was selected Pac-12 Pitcher of the Week. Her first honor. Congratulations!

     Dail tossed three complete games.
The one next to her was McQuillin with 2
     wins and 2 CG.

It's too bad there are individuals in this world who beg to be bullied. Wouldn't you agree?

I can see why they gave it to Dail but there were other deserving pitchers as well:

Plain's line 1CG, 2 SV, 13 IP, 0ER (against RPI 62)
Mcquillin's line 2CG 10IP, 2ER (against RPI 2x31)
Dail 3 CG 19IP, 5ER (against RPI 43, 186x2)

We shall see what Dail can do against the Bruins.
Hopefully she won't get hammered.

I wonder if they will try to save Dail for game 2 in an attempt to get a more favourable match up and maybe steal a game?

Who do you imply she would be matched up with in Game 2? (Bruins switched up their Game 2 starter last weekend in Tempe)

I see Garcia, Faraimo and Azevedo going for the Bruins.
And Dail pitching the 3 games.

Anyone but Garcia.. I’m not taking anything away from the other pitchers. UCLA is legit - any of their pitchers are going to be an extremely tough matchup. You’re right that you can only guess at who they will throw in each game.

I’m just saying that Oregon’s best shot at having a competitive game would be with Dail throwing against someone other than Garcia. Ducks are still in really tough though, obviously.

No matter what happens here, this has been an impressive outing by the Ducks, and Dail in particular.
