they are asked for proof, and they Congress is investigating.

if you are going to make the accusation, you should have something besides a stupid breitbart article behind it.

Hey mike, what other media source would be writing about it that you would accept?  dewy just quoted a Washington Post poll saying curious george was GOAT.  I put zero faith and zero stock in anything Washington Post may publish

That's an excellent question, and one I'm not sure that I know the answer to.  What I do know is that Breitbart was the propagandist in chief for trump all through the campaign, their leader is now a chief strategist, and this POTUS and a bunch of his disciples trusts them more than he trusts the CIA.

I don't believe them at all.

The material in that Breitbart article appears to mainly be a recounting of a Mark Levin broadcast - http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2017/03/03/mark-levin-obama-used-police-state-tactics-undermine-trump/.

One of the materials Levin cited was the Jan 19 NYT article originally titled "Wiretapped Data Used in Inquiry of Trump Aides." NYT later changed the title to "Intercepted Russian Communications Part of Inquiry Into Trump Associates".

White House spokesman Sean Spicer tried to clarify Trump's comments Monday, saying the president wasn't using the word wiretapping literally, noting that Trump had put the term in quotation marks.

"The president used the word wiretap in quotes to mean broadly surveillance and other activities," Spicer said. He also suggested Trump wasn't accusing former President Barack Obama specifically, but instead referring to the actions of the Obama administration.

The man is POTUS, for crying out loud.  If it happened, he could know it in about 3 minutes.

He can't admit wrong, and never has prayed for forgiveness, because he's never had to.

I hope he grows into this job.

here's the thing about this:

if Obama made claims like that about Bush, the GOP would be up in arms.  However, since it's "their" guy making crap up, it's all good.

It's been very interesting to watch Newt's evolving views on the trumpcare bill.  He hated it when it came, out, then he saw trump supported it, and now he thinks its workable.

HRC and Podesta both tweeted brags about getting surveillance going on Trump campaign.  Well documented.

The Brietbart article points to actual FISA requests as their source documents.  Those documents exist and are real.  Not a single person has said they are not.

Obama's admin made a FISA request to make broad sweeping investigation of Trump asking for all aspects of his communications.  That is a chilling request.  Use of Federal government to investigate opposing party is exactly what Nixon did in Watergate.   After their first rejection, they definitely went back with a more narrow request.  They were asking for a specific server that was sending messages to a couple of Russian banks, and several other banks.

Team McCain comes off as a bigger salty loser than the Dems.

The main point of Trumps tweet was to let the Dem's know their muh Russia stupidity works both ways.  Dems thought they could undermine and delegitimize Trump openly.   Trump turned that table on them, showing that Obama can be undermined as well.

Like I said, a good question.  I suppose I still trust elements of the news part of Fox, except when they go all in for pundit mode.  I read their website, but don't watch their shows anymore.

BTW I was chatting with that Scottsdale cousin of mine the other day, and I asked him WTF is going on with McCain, and why haven't he and his buddies kicked McCain outa office. He seemed offended by the idea.

Attribution is pretty easy - http://robocoach.websitetoolbox.com/search?keywords=turden&searchin=contents&member=&do=findposts&id=&replies=atleast&numreplies=0&daterange=0&custdatefrom=&custdateto=&sort=lastpost&order=asc&radio_showas=posts&btnSearch=Search&action=doSearch.

First usage was by TruDat in softball forums (3 times in 2015). EG was first in Misc with 3 - 8/14/16, 1/29/17 and 8 days ago.

Which topic(s) in the 35+ minute video are you attributing to Team McCain?

12:51.  Napaltano lays out the case that it appears Trump was likely surveilled by British GCHQ agents/technologies.  That since it was foreign intelligence they were legally allowed to surveil Trump and pass that information along to Obama/Clinton.

This seems to be where this story is going now.

trump didn't say he was surveilled.  he didn't say foreign intelligence did it.

trump said the prior POTUS ordered his phones to be wiretapped.

of course, since trump said it, if it proves to be an outright lie, then no harm no foul.  just shaking up Washington, draining the swamp, putting Obama on notice, etc, etc, etc.

Thanks for confirming the topic.

Nap initially said that, but then clarified NSA captured the conversations (presumably while legally surveilling the Russians). Obama reportedly bypassed US laws by having GCHQ retrieve them from the NSA data base and forward transcripts to WH.

How do we know this?  I thought Congress was investigating?  Is that what they've concluded?

Nap reported what a "source" told Fox. Congress needs to look beyond FISA applications. I expect NSA logs every retrieval from their data base, so that's where they need to start their investigation and work backward from there.

Not knocking you here Pdad, just making a general observation.

trump has called the press the enemy of the American people, laregely due to their use of anonymous sources.

this whole wiretapping thing is based on two articles, with anonymous sources, and trumpies love it.
