Lauren Chamberlain currently leads the NPF with 13 EBH and also leads with 8 doubles. Her 5 HR trail only three players... and her 20 RBI trail only three players. Her .550 Slg% is the 9th best in the NPF.

Her .263 BA and .341 OBP are a lot better than they were a year ago at this point in the season - but I would really like to see her change her approach at the plate with two strikes. I'd have her cut that two strike swing way back (in terms of bat speed) - and focus on putting the ball in play up the middle and to the right side.

Monica Abbott is now 10-2 (with 2 saves) with a 0.89 ERA and 131 strike outs in 71.0 IP. That is 12.92 strike outs per 7 IP.   Only Jordan Taylor has a better ERA (at 0.63).

Kretschman is tearing it up and Sami Fagan is actually having a pretty good year so far. I'm still amazed that Nerissa Myers was a slapper her whole first year at UL and just started mixing up swinging away during here second year on the field, and has been a great hitter finishing college and in the NPF.

Chamberlain has been to bat twice tonight.  Two home runs.  Leads the team with seven.

Chamberlain's two HR last night led her team to a 3-0 win over the Chicago Bandits.
That performance brought LC's numbers to .277, .351, .627, .978 for the season.
She leads the NPF in HR (7), doubles (8) and EBH (15).
Her .637 Slg% is the third best.
She is third in RBI (2 behind the leader).

The Pride's record is now 25-6.

Btw... I think the USSSA Pride team would beat the snot out of team USA.
