I am pretty sure there have been posters on the left calling conservatives inbred. Save the faux outrage.
This is more fun than a barrel of monkeys. I hope nobody throws a monkey wrench in the gears. This is serious business, no monkeying around.

Exaggeration. Nobody here constantly hollers "racist". It comes up occasionally. If you don't want to be called out, stop saying monkey over and over. It was not a part of your speech previously.

I never thought I would see myself typing this but I have a newfound respect for Kim Kardashian.  Compare her legitimate and responsible efforts to enact prison reform vs. the self-aggrandizing and self-centered actions of Kaepernick.  Kap is about himself and it only started when he got benched and met his radical girlfriend.

It is a shame that as a child you were unable to be competitive in sports, so you picked out the ones that looked different to take out your vengeance. It's ok now, you're an adult and it doesn't really matter anymore. Let it go. Kim Kardashian is similar to Melania, all glitz, no substance. You'd love her.

A stunningly inept post.  Your desperation is coming out of you like explosive diarrhea.

You got 4chan'd again...

Just like the NFL, whose ratings have gone WAY DOWN, Nike is getting absolutely killed with anger and boycotts. I wonder if they had any idea that it would be this way? As far as the NFL is concerned, I just find it hard to watch, and always will, until they stand for the FLAG!

Let's see: right-wingers will have to live in holes in the ground before long as their list of objectionable companies and institutions in America grows longer by the week--Nike, Starbucks, Dick's, Twitter and Facebook, ESPN, NFL, Disney and the rest of Hollywood, and I'm sure I've missed a few others. The poor saps will have nothing to do.

Find it interesting that the left is all about boycotts, bans, etc for things they get triggered over but if anyone on the right wants to express themselves against an entity they disagree with they, as usual, lose their minds.
Personally I am not a fan of any organized boycotts or silencing others speach no matter how I feel about it. That’s what free speach means. It’s easy to march and support a view you agree with. The left cannot allow others to speak if they don’t approve/agree. Their version of free speach runs into a wall at the end of their one way street.

  • Among Republicans, Nike’s positive ratings went from +75 to absolute zero. Among white Americans, favorability dropped from +67 to +27.
  • Favorability ratings for Nike amongst Democrats, while not as extreme for the Republicans, still dropped nine points. For African-Americans, it dropped another eight.
  • Prior to the announcement, Nike enjoyed a +69 favorable impression among all demographics. It has now dropped to +35

National Fraternal Order Of Police Brutally Slaps Down Kaepernick Nike Ad

The National Fraternal Order of Police won’t boycott Nike, but they made it crystal clear that they won’t stand for the company’s controversial Colin Kaepernick ad.

In a press release deliberately titled, “Believe In Something Even If It Means Sacrificing Everything,” Chuck Canterbury, National President of the Fraternal Order of Police, issued a powerful dismissal of the Nike ad – and completely humiliated Kaepernick in the process.

“The Fraternal Order of Police has been called upon to boycott Nike for capitalizing on this former professional football player because he attracts controversy,” Canterbury says in the release. “In our experience, boycotts and similar exercises do not succeed and often serve only to enrich the company–which is not what we want to do. Our members and, for that matter, any American citizen, understands when the law enforcement profession is being insulted–we have no doubt they will make their purchases with that insult in mind..”

The statement continues, “If Nike chooses to create an ad campaign featuring a former quarterback who describes cops as ‘pigs’ and makes large donations to the family of a convicted cop killer and wanted fugitive, Joanne Chesimard, who murdered New Jersey State Trooper Werner Foerster in cold blood in 1973, they are free to do so.”

Canterbury ends his statement on a poignant note: “Ultimately, this ad campaign will end and our nation will no longer associate ‘sacrifice’ and ‘sneakers.’ Instead, we will once again associate ‘sacrifice’ with our fellow Americans in our military and police departments who stand in harm’s way to protect the rest of us and our right to express ourselves.”
Is there anything left to be said?

The FOP press release hit all the right notes – unlike the completely tone-deaf Nike ad. If people want to boycott Nike and burn their merchandise out of spite, they have the right to do so. However, posting pictures and videos of your destroyed Jordans achieves nothing save giving Nike free press – and, ultimately, that puts money back in their pockets.

Sorry, guys....

Despite Outrage, Nike Sales Increased 31% After Kaepernick Ad

By Gina Martinez
September 8, 2018

Despite the backlash in the wake of Nike’s endorsement deal with Colin Kaepernick, the sportswear company has reported a 31% increase in sales.

Nike sales grew 31% from Sunday through Tuesday over the Labor Day holiday this year compared with the previous year, according to Edison Trends.

On Sept. 3, Nike debuted their new campaign featuring the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback, who sparked the wave of NFL national anthem protests against racial inequality last year. His actions enraged many, leading Kaepernick, who is currently an unsigned free agent, to claim he has been blacklisted by NFL leadership. Nike followed up on Wednesday, releasing an ad featuring Kaepernick, which aired during the NFL season opener on Thursday.

After the announcement, many Nike customers blasted the decision on social media. Some filmed themselves destroying Nike products and claiming they will boycott the company.

A true Patriot.........

Quote:

The Times-Picayune reported Sunday that Ben Zahn, the Republican mayor of Kenner, La., instructed the city’s recreation department to not buy anything that showed the Nike logo. Zahn didn’t immediately respond to Yahoo’s request for comment.

Author and political strategist Donna Brazile, whose hometown is Kenner, shared what appears to be an official city memo about the ban on Twitter. The letter reads:

“Effective immediately all purchases made by any booster club operating at any Kenner Recreation Facility for wearing apparel, shoes, athletic equipment and/or any athletic product must be approved by the Director of Parks and Recreation, or his designee. Under no circumstances will any Nike product or any product with the Nike logo be purchased for use or delivery at any City of Kenner Recreation Facility.”

It’s a well supported fact that conservatives donate more money to charities than liberals. Or are you challenging them to donate to causes you deem worth while
