Nike used to be shaking and baking in our area and in high school sports.  In fact, we were a "Nike School" and received a lot of special gear including a warm up suit and shoes for free.  Over time, they lost out to others like Adidas.  For the last 10 years, we have purchased all of our gear from Adidas.  Now, Under Armor is trying to get in on the high school business.  They, or I should say a representative, gave me a free shirt asking that I order Under Armor for the teams I coach.  We did but because Adidas dropped the ball and lost our order.  Adidas told us they could get the order to us two weeks into our season.  Under Armor said that they could do it in 4 days.  Nike?  Their representative never responded.  Nuff said!

They will get the very vocal SJW crowd.  They will lose the rest of the people.  Social media geniuses count those clicks and try to apply general population click to convert percentages.

It is a failed model.   The SJWs often have many followers because they bug the frick out of people and poeple are like 'what the heck, easier to follow that retard, then be constantly heckled by them'.  Their clicks are most often other SJWs that are only following, clicking and retweeting each other because that is all they have to do.  They have no money and no jobs, so they just grind away on social media.

Athletes including LeBron James and Kevin Durant showed support, posting images of Kaepernick's ad on their Instagram profiles.

Even former Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad weighed in, tweeting: "The #NFL season will start this week, unfortunately once again @Kaepernick7 is not on a NFL roster. Even though he is one of the best Quarterbacks in the league."

Rightists have concluded those who don’t think as they do must hate everything. In actuality, Rightists hate those who don’t think as they do. McCain (never Trumper) Kerry (Democrat) and Mueller (Lawyer) come immediately to mind as examples.

Simple business decision for Nike.  A curious one, but I am sure they have done their homework.

If it's a simple business decision for NIKE, why do some Rightists twist it into an accusation that NIKE hates America and hates the military?  Can you explain that?

I think we are seeing signs of America finally pushing back on those Trump supporters and Rightists who have turned protesting in this Country into something evil.  We understand the importance of civil protests in this Country and it's good to see NIKE apparently understands it as well.

Dewey do us a favor.  Do a google search for kaepernick.  click videos, watch the first video and share what you saw.  Also post a link.   it will be fun.

Kapernick was a loser.  Lost his starting job.  Got caught sitting being butthurt and dejected.  He sat through the entire start of the game, the starter intros, the coin flips, the announcements, the kickoff and most of the first quarter.  Then in the press conference the SF press turned on him big time.  Headed dow the path of what a loser, sitting looking crappy ... etc.  It was looking super bad for Colin, then they asked about 'sitting during the anthem as well?' and he panicked.  Another reporter throughout the 'were you sitting to protest social justice?'  question and in Colin's panicked state that was the life raft he was looking for.

Now kneeling and people all over claiming that he is 'one of the best' quaterbacks ever and only does not have job because of racism.

Funny to watch butthurt and dejected become the spokesman for butthurt and rapey.

Kaepernick's original statement on kneeling:

“I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses Black people and people of color. To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder.”

A BS, made-up reason from a BS, mediocre quarterback.

As I said, Rightists are intent on painting protests as evil.  I think many entities in America are finally seeing the light and are now prepared to push back on this ludicrous characterization.  That's a good thing.

He lost the starting QB job to Blaine Gabbert, just how bad does your play need to be to accomplish that?

Ha, well, trailer park America has discovered yet another new enemy. Let's see, it already dislikes teachers, the FBI, Justice Department, environmentalists, unions, Europe, Hollywood, blacks, women, ESPN, video games, gays, the post office and progressives, of course. I'm sure I've missed a few others. Now comes Nike. You poor saps will be left with nothing on your favorites list before long except church, corn dogs at the state fair and Wal-Mart.
