Here's an exciting chance to advance Professional Softball!
Two teams are being put together to play this summer.
I think that it's a really creative way to advance the sport.
Check it out!

4-2 Akron in the lead top of 4. Watching Ivy Renfro pitching against Nerissa Myers (from LaLafayette). Both of course were playing in college weeks ago.
Flipping between Wimbledon, softball, swimming national championships all while working in the garage.

While typing the score is now 6-4 Chicago. Ivy is like a nail right now--getting hit hard. And Brittany mack is coming in to pitch now with just 1 out.

I have attended approx 10 professional softball games since the current league has started.  I'm sorry, but it is really hard to continue to try and support/promote the professional league.  Only having 4 teams in the league is a joke.  2 good teams and 2 bad teams makes it even worse.  The Racers and the Comets are hard to watch or take serious on a "professional" level.  I took a friend of mine (not a softball guy) and he couldn't get over how out of shape some of the players looked in their uniforms.  One player ran from home to 1st on a ground ball to shortstop in 5.25 seconds(I timed her).  The league needs help in so many ways.

How huge would this league be if you put all 4 teams in either Chicago and play at that new stadium or in Oklahoma City at ASA stadium?  Play a Thursday night through Sunday tournament like system every weekend during the summer, put the games on ESPN or ESPNU like they do with the college game, why am i the only one thinking of this?
