The other Pro league is doing so well, it's probably time for an expansion league. [sleep]

I just wonder why they’re doing it? Where is the funding coming from and who started this shenanigan?

Y’all never know. I wonder if leadership in the NPF is the problem? Opinions?

Nobody cares after the college game...that is the problem.

They would care if they kept the alums on campus.... made the league alumni teams

I don't think even then. And the idea after college is to move away for the most part, not stay on campus.

I'm just saying, those are the only people with a built-in fan base

I care.

But the number of people who do seem to care about women's fast pitch softball, after college, does seem pretty small (with the exception of during the Olympics).

Just want you to know... that there are some of us out there - that do care.

If I won a big powerball jackpot - I just might try and make a go of the alumni idea. I'd love to see that play out.

Lefty may be on to something. Most of the real fans are built in from the college game. Many of you may laugh at this idea because it didn't work out in the USFL, but I believe the concept is sound. The idea to draft regionally for each pro team would keep the intrest higher than it is now.
Some of the fan base could and possibly would follow kids they know without having to travel cross country. Doing that along with TV coverage could help save the league. JMO

It is the Professional Softball Club, Inc.’s mission to create an infrastructure with upwards of 20 teams where players can earn a livable wage.

Is the NPF going to fold? They've had trouble keeping more than five teams above water, and one is subsidized by the People's Republic of China.

Why not have pro conference all star teams instead of just school specific. B12, P12, SEC get 2 teams to level the playing field.

I think people care more about schools specifically than conferences

The wnba with all its nba support is still a little redheaded stepchild after 20 years.

And those college players can look in the other sub-forum then. I guess today's millenials are LAZY.

You lack credibility when you support a loser conference like the B1G. Tell me who is representing the B1G in the college football playoffs this year?

BTW, how many schools are in the "Big 10"? Hint: it's not 10, lol!

The NPF is done now. So dumb. Its all drama behind the scenes. Blame Kempf for a lot of this no doubt. But there's a group of higher ups in the NPF and ASA that wont listen to anyone. No one else is qualified to know what's best for these ladies except them. Total bs. My mens fastpitch leagues are a better run organization then this.

You now have the Bandits, the USSSA Pride, an Australian team and a Chinese team.  That ain't much of league.
