Will be thinking of Kurosawa tonight from our seats along the 3B line. I expect the Sooners are eager for the rematch from the regular-season meeting back in February in Mexico -- won by U-Dub, 1-0, on Van Zee's homer. Should be a great game.

I guess follow NCAA Twitter for official info. I don't think the forecast is all that concerning.

So based on yesterday's performances who do you believe has the best chance of winning the wcws?
Washington looks solid
Florida always is tough
I'm not sold on
Lsu great scrappy team love the passion but can they beat Florida possibly 3 times with only 1 pitcher?
Oklahoma those 4 errors concerned me greatly
Ucla is Rachael their only pitcher that can pitch in the NCAA tournament
Oregon yet well gotta score to help pitchers out and can freshmen hold down a scrappy Baylor offense?
Baylor how long can selman pitch and who is there in case she gets in deep trouble?

For lsu to have to beat Florida 3 times, it'd darn near take a miracle as ones about to cross brackets.

oooh so who ever loses tonight's game crosses over? Who does the loser have to beat twice to go to Sunday's semifinals?

Loser of UF/LSU crosses into the OU/UW bracket.  Loser of OU/UW crosses into the UF bracket.

So first it will be TAMU vs UCLA and Oregon vs. Baylor.

Winner of TAMU vs UCLA will face Loser of OU/UW.

Winner of Oregon vs. Baylor will face Loser of UF/LSU.

Winner of TAMU/UCLA winner vs OU/UW loser will face Winner of UF/LSU and they'd have to win twice.

Winner of Oregon/Baylor winner vs. UF/LSU loser will face Winner of OU/UW and they'd have to win twice.

Is that confusing enough?

Washington vs. UCLA- 2 young pitchers, both with indomitable wills to win. 2 offenses that can hit anyone. This will not be like Oregon-Washington, one or both will score runs. I'm going UCLA.

LSU vs. Oregon- 3 freshman pitchers vs. 2 of the best in the game. Oregon may have found their bats but I think LSU takes them away.

Can't get much more wrong than one to nothing, but I found a way.

They must have given them back to them.

Florida vs. Washington

Oklahoma vs. Oregon

As exciting and close as these games may be, I just don't see either one going to an extra game.

Florida vs. Oklahoma- the team on a mission against the team that's been there, done that. I'm leaning towards the team that has shown fewer kinks in the armor and has been in attack mode since they got to Oklahoma City. Florida

I prefer kink.

kink-a sharp twist or curve in something that is otherwise straight.

chink-narrow opening or crack, typically one that admits light.

I haven't seen any real openings in either team's game, especially since they got to the World Series. But chink is ok for those who choose it.

As much as that first game put each team's fans through the ringer, I'm pretty sure most people want to see a third game. Florida has the initial advantage of hitting first, which gives them the opportunity to put up a bunch of runs early. If they can't put some distance between them and Oklahoma in the first few innings, I suspect the Sooners will end this in 2. I'm thinking Florida finds a way to pull this off.
