Why do the Dems keep subjecting themselves to this.    The frantic talk.  Claiming the DOJ "ordered" Mueller to only testify what is in the report.

Two dems on NPR today.  First one, "It is awful that the DOJ is attempting to intimidate Mueller because Drumpf!!!"  Other was clearly trying to break in, but has to wait because the salty dem was on a roll.  Finally Dem 2.  "Mueller sent a letter to the DOJ and requested official guidance on his testimony, this letter is only stating DOJ standard policies".  Dem 1 freaks out.

What a laugh.  I remember the Dems always being a bit off, a bit out of touch, a bit in their own little world.  But this TDS has really knocked them for a loop.

Collins had him completely screwed on the conspiracy/collusion stuff.   Dems want to try and claim Mueller did not look at collusion, yet the entire investigation was constantly referred to as 'looking into the collusion matter'.  Only when that came up bust, did the democrats then try to say Mueller only looked at the legally defined conspiracy.

Collins did a good job of locking Mueller down as stating he looked only at the conspiracy as legally defined and that was not collusion.  Collins then whipped out a citation from Mueller's own report stating that Collusion and Conspiracy are basically the same thing.

Mueller was clearly rocked.

Confused, stuttering, asks for questions to be repeated.   A bigger disaster for the dems than ever could be hoped for.

Draws a blank on Fusion GPS.

The democrats are ending themselves right before our eyes.  How can the democrats stick with this leadership after watching the Kavanaugh thing blow up in their face and now this blowing up in their face.  Maybe the democrats have nothing better to look forward to.

Someone just ripped it wide open when they asked him why they didn't charge the person that lied to Papa about Russia having dirt on Trump.  That person also lied to the FBI three times and was not charged.

Note it down.  Historic questioning:

Collins: "Collusion is not a specific offense, or a term of art in the federal criminal law, conspiracy is.  In the colloquial context, the known public context collusion and conspiracy are essentially synonymous terms, correct?"

Mueller: "No"

Collins reads Muellers report: "As defined in legal dictionaries, collusion is largely synonymous with conspiracy as that crime is set forth in the general federal conspiracy statute,"

Mueller asks for the citation.

Mueller stammers, contradicts himself.  Eventually stumbles to "I will leave it with the report."

Collins: "Finally we can put to bed, with your own report, we can put to bed the question of collusion or conspiracy."

Boom game over.

Blowing up? Mueller says that Trump can be prosecuted for obstruction of justice after he leaves office. He clearly believes he committed obstruction of justice--and there are numerous instances cited in his report, not that it took a sleuth to see Trump's crimes.

Yea, I hate it when a solid, moral man like Trump gets picked on by the Dems for inviting the Russians to interfere in our election, for obstructing justice, for lying, for taking Putin's side over our own intel agencies...such a travesty to see a man with such integrity unfairly maligned.....What is the world coming to? Rednecks stand behind their racist standard-bearer.

It is a mess.  Republicans are doing a great job of setting up the pending Inspector General report, which will go into the use of the Steele dossier, the abuse of FISA warrants, on and on.

But before they go there, they are still circling the big question for Mueller.  Keeping hammering him, peppering with left jabs to keep him off balance.  Moving in for the big right cross.  It is going to be a bomb for Mueller.  You would think they would have to know it is coming.

Of course that is effectively "Did you know Trump was innocent of collusion and conspiracy prior to the 2018 election?"

It really seems that the Dems are so out of position they cannot even defend where this is headed.  Goaded on by the immature and unthinking squad, and further goaded by a media who has not come to realize how irrelevant they have become.  Nadler, Pelosi, Shumer find themselves at the wheel of a clown car that left the cliff side quite a long time ago.

Just like it when dems are outed for their dirty deeds.  This time on using a witch hunt to steal seats in the 2018 election.  The American voter will most definitely hold that against the Dems.

Witch hunt? Your grasp on reality is very tenuous--but then that fairly describes rubes who prefer to believe nonsense as opposed to facts. Anybody who thinks that Trump is anything but a corrupt, immoral mobster deserves scorn. Trump bragged for years about how rich he was--yet when the time came to show his tax returns he runs and hides like the con-man pu$$y he is, going so far now as to sue the State of New York to keep his tax returns secret. That's how con men operate--all loud lies and BS and then scurrying into the weeds when the time comes to put up. The only thing Trump is good at is winding up rednecks like you.

It is all coming out now.  The Asra Turk aspects.  The attempts to entrap Papadopolous.  The ties to Misfud.  It was all based on Misfud's statements and Misfud lied.

Mueller just said he didn’t know prosecutor Jeannie Rhee represented Hillary Clinton (or the Clinton Foundation) before she came on to Mueller’s team. If that’s true, it’s surprising.

The John Radcliffe exchange was great as well.  It was about Mueller not exonerating Trump.  Radcliffe noted that exonerating is not a legal term used by prosecutors.  People are innocent until proven guilty, is it not the job of the prosecutor to either prove someone is guilty or to shutup?

Tweet of the Day---there may be more as there are a lot of good ones:

https://twitter.com/toddzwillich/status/1154012691616489474

This is what fraudsters and liars do...hide.

Oh, Mueller received a Bronze Star, a Purple Heart and a Navy Medal of Commendation. And Trump?
He's a mobster who lied about bone spurs to dodge the draft and has spent all of his life lying and cheating people in various ways. Your man--and rednecks usually hate draft dodgers!
Caught out...again.

"Did the President refuse to be interviewed"

uhm.  yes.  President of the US has Executive Privilege.

You want to interview the President, you have to have some evidence.  He is not obligated to open himself to entrapment.

Even democrats know this.
