Why do think Trump ducked it? He's all hat, no cattle, and he knows that she knows. To succeed, he has to try to keep it hidden as long as possible.

True, he doesn't like the Town Hall setting unless you are Sean Hannity kissing his nutsack.  Megyn drills down and no one does that to the Donald.  All hat, no cattle yes

Here's the rub on your theory, beliefs.......

Are Rubio and Cruz putting their solutions out there?....The reason I ask, 'cause if they are, it's proving to be working for Trump......

Cruz is banking on deep south and texas on super tuesday next week. If he gets over 50% in texas he gets all 108 district delegates. 44 at large and the 3 RNC would still be up for grab even with a 50.00001% win that got him all 108. Of course he won't get 50% which means they will be proportionate.

Trump is at 82. Cruz at 17 and Rubio at 16. California with 172 and new york with 99 and their new york values aren't going to show love to cruz. Rubio should take florida and has finished 2nd in the past 3 primaries over cruz. Only when cruz won iowa 28/24/23 did Rubio finsh 3rd. Cruz has won 1 promary and 3rd in the other 3. A close victory with trump and rubio 4 and 5% behind. Yet when not winning he was 3rd and double digits behind the winner---henc why he is at 17 delegates to trump's 82. Texas will be the alamo for him. Rubio has best chance to stay in the boxing ring with trump. Lots of people (middle and right) love donald trump and see cruz and a sniveling fake. A canadian cuban phoney who doesn't speak his mind but attacks his opponents behind their backs (carson incident, rubio incident, other stuff he fired his campaign guy over). Cruz beating trump at this point is same chance Ole miss had of winning SEC after beating bama early on (iowa early win over trump for cruz).

Cruz spins every defeat saying they are defying the experts with how they finish. He is right. They had you picked to be closer to winning each state so far not finishing 3rd 3 times in a row. He was always in top tier to win the nomination. Kasich is doing better than expected. Bush did far far worse than expected. The bush vs clinton battle is a bedtime story Jeb can tell his grandkids and great grandkids.

btw,....trump can skip town halls and debates because it "fits" his campaign persona. He plays by his own rules is how his supporters will see it (in reality he is ducking and cowering like he did 4 times for military service). He can. It isn't that he is so great with republicans but that rubio and cruz aren't registering with republicans nor the middle. Trump is winning the middle handily. Trump gives everyone not kissing his ring the middle finger and america is eating it up. Our problem is we are a twitter, facebook, instagram, american idol, keepinmg up with housewives society. Reality stars are household names and donald trump is a name everyone knows. He has star power. He will be the next american idol....ooops..I mean president

Many people think Trump's success is because voters are tired of Obama's policies..........Well, there's another angle, also.......Trump voters are tired of Republican results, too!

yeah, there are other angles too.

I guess it's no import to you that 65% of Republicans hate your guy.

If he wins, he'll govern with less of a coalition than Obama has had.

100% yes - 100% yes. As long as he can stay hidden and his supporters not actually care about how he's going to do all the things he says he's going to do, it's a good strategy.

wrong.  Trump has the highest disapproval ratings in the race - Rubio the least.  I am not talking about % of votes gained until now, I am talking about the disapproval, and the "i'd never vote for" numbers.

Trump's are higher than Clinton's for crying out loud.  And that's BEFORE the Dems go after him, unlike any Republicans have done.

Mike, I know you're smarter than Tyler and some of the others.......

The "I'd never vote for" numbers are skewed by both parties.....And, anyone who has attacked Trump has not done so well afterward........

Trump supporters represent a large chunk of the vote......And, without Trump, they stay home.......There's nothing to energize any of them to vote for either of the other two......Record numbers show up to vote for Trump!

Another thing you don't mention......Trump will get a lot of Democratic crossover votes....Rubio and Cruz get none!

Mike, Trump is way ahead in the polls in Florida......Rubio is struggling in his home state.......

Trump is virtually tied with Cruz in the polls in Texas.....In Texas, Mike!

Don't you see, your numbers don't add up?

A former Jeb supporter now supports Trump.....

“Donald Trump has clearly demonstrated that he has both the guts and the fortitude to return our nation’s jobs stolen by China, take on our enemies like ISIS, Iran, North Korea and Russia, and most importantly, re-establish the opportunity for our children and grandchildren to attain the American Dream,” Collins said in a statement released first to The Buffalo News. “That is why I am proud to endorse him as the next president of the United States.”

I agree. Here's info on how TX awards its delegates. I believe the 20% threshold is applied at both the statewide and district levels.

Proportional, 20% threshold–If a candidate wins more than 50% of the statewide vote, he or she is awarded all of the state's at-large delegates. If a candidate wins more than 50% of the vote in a district, he or she is awarded all of the district's delegates.

My take on the candidates...

Cruz: I liked his response on the compromise question because there are concerns he would be too much of an ideologue. Worst case scenario would be him overplaying his veto card and establishment GOP ganging up with Libs to overcome it. Overall, a good showing.

Kasich and Rubio both suffered from the inherent delay of being remote instead of in person.

Kasich: Had a very awkward interaction with Megyn as he tried to get his record out while she was trying to get to audience questions. He has a very strong case for being the nominee, however the odds are prohibitively against him. He really needs to figure out the ramifications of staying in - can he keep Trump from winning some big winner-take-all states without doing more harm in other states to Cruz/Rubio. If not, he should exit ASAP.

Rubio: Had a good showing. He does a good job of portraying himself as someone that can unite and grow the party. I'd like to see him use not running for re-election in the Senate to distance himself from the DC establishment.

Carson: Had a good night, but it doesn't matter. Best part was explaining how Obama didn't grow up with the typical black experience.

Not really, look at the thread title

I'm in between trips to the garden, blackberries [galore], okra, lima beans, tomatoes, scallop, straighneck yellow and zucchini squash [oh and sunflowers for my birds].  Since my Dad bowed out of the garden about 6-7 years ago, my best ever.  Had to do a lot of cleaning and weeding that he always neglected in his later years.  The rain this year has been great for me, horrible for many in the area.

Took Cinco de Mayo off for a wedding this evening so......

Boredom has never really been something I participate in.  When my kids would tell me they were bored when growing up, my pat reply was, "Only boring people get bored".

But gurrrrl, I appreciate you asking

Plus, I'm not the People Magazine type of person that you and fhoenix seem to be.  I just like Megyn and came across the story on twitter.  I found it a little naughty that a husband would tell that story publicly.  I'm sure she gave up some ass when she went back to that hotel room.

Money is Megyn's inspiration!

You can like her, if you so choose.......But, praising her as something she isn't, won't do!

Trump is an opportunist and Megyn Kelly isn't........

nothing of what you posted has anything to do with posting lies and personal attacks at the people I listed - they just happen to think different than you so you think it's ok to say whatever you want about them. Truly vile.

But please keep posting like you did above, you just keep proving my point.

Let's see if I got this straight.......

By Durden's admission, he/she believes.......

It's perfectly acceptable to bring charges and prosecute Christie for closing a bridge.......

Yet, it's not acceptable to charge and prosecute Hillary for a multitude of offenses, all a bit more dangerous than closing a bridge........

Got it!  [thumb]

Also, Durden likes to slander people by calling them names..........

I'm "despicable" he/she, or both, says.........He/she, or both, forgot, I'm "deplorable".........

Durden's hero said so!.....And, I'm sure his/her, or both, other hero, Megyn, would agree!    [biggrin]

I've never said anything about Christie - another lie, but I know it doesn't bother you how much you lie. What does your Bible say about that?

I've also said all along that Hillary should be prosecuted - another lie, but again, you must not care about lying - what does your Bible say about people who lie?

You are despicable, but not deplorable - you could be redeemed if you would read the Bible and repent.
