Let's be honest....if my daughter is a 3 hole hitter on a SEC team.....that team has problems somewhere.

Recruiting.....coaching....something. is WRONG.

What I am saying is that any LSU fan who checks your post history would like to punch you in the teeth.

If that's the case, those fans have a serious problem...........Might wanna be careful talking about such foolishness...........

There's no question that LSU's softball hitting program isn't productive...........No question, at all...........

I hope LSU's freshman class next year can step in immediately and help out. Clark and Tidwell seem to be the most raved about position players but I have zero clue how good either are.

Beth is a good coach and has done a lot with their pitching in the last seven years. Hoover has been injured the last 2 seasons just a couple of weeks before post season yet Beth still found a way to end strong. Obviously hitting is their weakness at this point but understand that they lost the 3 best hitters they’ve had in the last ten years in Bianca Bell, Savannah Jaquish, and Bailey Landry (if not top 3 in school history) so that hurt them dearly. Springfield got recruited expected to be able to step up at the plate for the team and she hasn’t been too consistent. Griggs and Sunseri managed to step up this season in clutch situations along with the help of Serrett, but other than that their lineup has been sub par- could blame that on the lack of an efficient hitting coach... also doesn’t seem as though they have much leadership left after Quinn and Jaquish’s graduation. They are probably going to rely heavily on the backs of their freshman next year if they can step up.

I couldn't care less if a poster criticizes a method of coaching incessantly. If that is how they want to spend their spare time, then fine. Coaching philosophy is fair game.

Grindz, be it a he or she, posted some things that went beyond softball when it comes to the coaches and players, and he/she/it even owned up to it a while back. I really don't want to go back and copy and paste it all here, but it was disgusting and infuriating...and had NOTHING to do with softball. When it gets personal, then the line has been crossed. There is no need for it.

So no, I don't want to punch anyone in the teeth because they say bad things about the hitting on the team. But when you personally attack human beings who are playing a game that is merely for your entertainment, then I have a problem.

What seed do yall think we have?Top 8 is out the question, 10 or 11 seems to be what I think or see.

I am curious to see how the committee handles Georgia. There is a question on how truly healthy hoover is which could impact stuff. South Carolina with a win over Florida for the SECT Title could really shake it up as well. LSU is in a decent place with RPI at 9

Torina is a good coach. No arguments here. But me being an oldtimer(ish), your first line here makes me snicker a bit. (Sarcasm font on) Yeeeesss, she has improved the pitching so much from the days of those mediocre All Americans like Rachel Fico, Brittney Sneed, Kristen Shortridge, and the kid whose name i can never spit out (but 3LT helps me) who pitched with Fico to make the All American upperclassmen duo that Torina inherited when she took over the program. My apologies to any All American stud pitchers before Torina’s time who i left out.

Never said she improved it, just that she has done a lot with it. I know my LSU history

Ladies have a pretty good draw this post season, just play like we can and we advance to Supers

FSU is very beatable and even they could possibly be knocked out by Auburn.

Another trip to OKC is very very doable

Lets do this!

I think LSU has a good chance of beating Fla State. Going to come down to hitting. The lefthander King was probably better against LSU than their stud righthander from last year.

Proud of this team this weekend. The Andrews fall was a fluke!

We can definitely beat FSU! Torina knows how to win these games. I don't think we score a lot but we find a way to knock FSU out at home!

No, the slip by Andrews is part of the game, both teams had a fielder in left field, the call at the plate was the FLUKE!!!!!!!!
