Why are you posting about a team you said was embarrassing??

We all think that your posts are embarrassing and I think actually trying to divert the attention going on at USL...

Neither did a home setting that played with de-facto sub-190-foot dimensions

With the season creepin up, does anyone want to take a guess at the lineup?

Not the order but position wise

LF- Andrews
CF- griggs
RF- Antoine
3B- Sanchez
SS-Serrett
2B- Schultes
1B- Doyle
DP-Springfield or Schlattman (still concerned with Springfield swing)
C- Caccamise

I am excited to see if Sunseri or Maribeth can emerge as a 3rd pitcher, LSU needs to build depth for the future

I didn't see all the scrimmages this fall, so if anyone saw anythin different please share

I really hope we will improve on offense as a whole

Walljasper and Hoover are definitely hitting for themselves

Why do you say that or is that sarcasm? lol

I know Walljasper has had a lot of plate appearances over her career here but that would be extremely concerning if we have Walljasper and hoover hitting verses a Dh

We really need to step it up at the plate. Torina said she handled the offense a little differently this year so I wonder where that will take us.

I think pitchin can carry us anywhere but we need people to step up offensively

Thanks for the link.

She seems optimistic about Gorsuch but she sounds extremely concerned about the offense. It sounded like not much changed with it. Hopefully it can be better this season. Torina seems extremely open to change but not sure Dobson is.

We have some talented kids, Dobson needs to have them prepared this season. I felt like most weren't prepared last season

how could you not?

Word is LSU looked really bad at the plate this fall

LSU doesn't seem to have any SEC caliber hitters, this is a major problem

Well they are in trouble since they lost their best hitter from this last season to a transfer. She must be really good to be better than the two AA’s that were on the roster.

Narrator.... which hitter transferred out?

The major, proven talent graduated in Landry and Jaquish. Their combined OPS last year was an excellent 1.030. And Dawson, clearly a riser, was a .801

With them out, the remaining players last year had a really rough combined OPS of .685 ... let that sink in.

Needless to say, they will need a near-perfect season from Carley and Allie in the circle. And, frankly, I think they will get that with them healthy.

But, 2019?? Whoah

Torina is screwed once Walljasper and Carley leave

Offense can't keep this team in anythin

2019 LSU will definitely have a losing record. Talent is not there to be competitive in the SEC.

Do yall think its a talent issue or a coachin problem?

Offenses improved a bit under Dobson but it seems like his offenses are extremely inconsistent. I also think he doesn't know how to extract more power from his lineups

Some of the players on roster had a lot of top schools recruit them but they look mediocre or very different from travel ball

Amanda Doyle was on everyone short list but really did bad freshman year. I know its a major adjustment from hs to this level

It seems some of the players look extremely different from what they did before they arrived to campus. In terms of mechanics and technique in such

I can't see how you can say Beth is a average coach who got lucky. She has had her team in the wcws the last three years , so whats your problem. She went to fsu and beat them on their home field and now she is just average. lets just give them a chance the season hasn't started but win or lose ill be there. GEAUX TIGERS

He said it because LSU made it to the WCWS because of pitching...........He meant that their hitting was sub-par - especially the power.............

LSU has to be one of the poorest coached teams on the offensive side

Serrett completely went backwards this past year after hitting .300 year one

They made zero adjustments with Springfield, she has a bad swing for this level. Its way too long

Doyle a prized jewel out of Cali can't hit over .240 for the year

Sanchez does what exactly?

Emily just hasn't been the same since her freshman year.

A lot of the players are capable of swingin for power but what they are learning holds that back

There better be substantial differences in what they have done this off season, if not it will be bad this year
