Time will tell, smart money is on Beth, her staff and the proud LSU players.

It isn't cheating if they never call it.

Is this what you teach your players on your travel team? It’s ok to cheat if you don’t get caught?

If they don't call it, it's a rule interpretation. Simple, you can try to make what you want of it.

LSU adds Kilponen and Wickersham next year.

I know Kilponen chose LSU over Washington late in the fall before NSD, apparently she is the real deal but you never know until they play.  Same with Wickersham

But my concern moving forward is just the offense period. Beth can develop pitchers well. She just needs a offense to compliment it. I do want to see more power numbers this year. More doubles and homeruns

Beth mentioned that after ULM yesterday, she wants more power from the lineup

Nice to see that she wants more of it

Sounds like you are ok with rolled bats and shaved walls. Shameful.

Nothin about my last post was negative. I actually complimented Beth. I said both the recruits are talented

All I said was I would like to see some more power. Is that not okay?

Not to be nit picky but Hoover has always had somewhat of a small leap. In the Ole Miss series last year i think she was called for leaping and you can see it on a few replays. I think it's just exaggerated this year and more noticeable bc he windup isn't as big.

I get you, Grindz.  Five games down against inferior pitching and only two home runs.  At this rate probably won't hit 25 as a team.  Beth can want more power all she wants, but if the players are not capable, it won't happen.

Doyle, Sanchez, Springfield, Schlattman all have a lot of power. I don't think its necessarily the players aren't capable, I think they are for sure.

Other teams with inferior players compared to LSU have put up more home runs already to inferior pitchin as well.

I don't think this is a talent issue at all. I think Serrett is very capable as well too.

LSU hitters are taught to get their weight to the front-side, then swing

You know its bad when Walljasper is a hitter in the middle of the lineup and your catcher doesn't hit

Former Tiger, Sydney Smith allowed 14 hits, 9 runs, & 3 homeruns in today's 9-3 loss to FSU.

That sucks to hear, hopefully she can bounce back. Definitely doesn't look the same this year.

LSU's bats need to wake up today, outside of Doyle, everyone looked bad yesterday.

Doyle looks incredible now. We need more people to step up

Grindz is looking more and more like a genius.  Two years ago LSU beat LA Tech 30-8.  This year they have to go extra innings to win 2-1.  Through 245 at bats, only 3 home runs against lower tier pitching.  Sad.

So, I agree with Grindz and you assume I am him or he is me?  That's funny.  Grindz is right.  At least he tells it like it is and isn't afraid to hurt somebody's feelings.  LSU is horrible at the plate.  As bad as their hitting is now, it will probably drop 75-100 points once their SEC schedule kicks in.

They just need to recruit some hitters. Doyle and Sanchez are the only capable BIG bats on the team and the rest are contact hitters. Three of the five best hitters on the roster are pitchers who don't hit because they have to keep them healthy . The lefties are all good but not power hitters. Need to generate more offense.
