Good matchup. It looks like Auburns starter is out of the pitching lane every time. I dont think any pitcher in the coutry is "legal".

I would say the majority are legal although some from various programs are allowed to do as they please.

Is the pitching lane not enforced?

How do you not walk fagan to have a force and face the weaker part of the AU lineup?

That was almost as bad as the video going around Twitter of the ump calling the girl out 4 seconds late. The glove hit her helmet and it was obvious!

You'll just have to excuse me for not feeling sympathy for the team whose pitcher cannot land in the lane to save her soul.

Was a total make-up call for the close play at first with Veach's foot, but that was bang bang...that play on the other hand was not bang bang. She was out by a full stride.

I agree with you all most of the time about Carlson being illegal, but her toe today has been inside the lane upon the release and unless I don't fully understand the rule, that makes her pitches today legal.

Carlson is illegal everytime, however a rule is not a rule unless enforced.

Carlson is without a doubt STILL illegal. It's not even close the majority of the time.

Uh, because Clint will pitch a fit like the one he just did over that foul ball.

It genuinely seems like they don't want to argue with him.

Better question, why isnt Louisiana coach protesting?

Beth Torina doesn't protest. She's too lax for that.

A freshman and a pretty green SO. But still catch it and tag like Veech did. What an awful defensive game by both teams.

I'm disappointed with the level of play. Way to many errors on routine balls. The umpires are just as bad! If either one of these teams want to win anything, I suggest hours of defensive practice. Oh, and I hope Clint watches the replay on the foul ball and asks his player why she was crying.

Two really good games. Hate it had to end that way. I was under the impression LSU might struggle some, but they were the better team this weekend other than the two costly errors. Going to be a force if they can keep hitting that way with the pitchers they have.

Jesus no. The reason people hate LHC is BECAUSE she has no chill. She's gotten better of late, but had an absolute meltdown-- wait, I think that was actually Baldwin...-- when the UCF catcher decided to play the bully at home plate yesterday. LHC will never be 100% calm, it's not her DNA.

Auburn and LSU was the sloppiest defensive play by both teams I've seen in a long time, if not ever.............Gotta think the cold was the reason........

I'm not sure these calls are makeup. I think umpires are just not getting the job done. There's been too many this year.
